I totally understand the excitement Little Monster have over this era. They've suffered more than most. Endless Jazz albums, singing about her dead aunt, that Joker album (and film), the Enigma show, always cancelling world tours. It's been rough. 
 

Gaga has returned to form, with a great album and clear and strong creative point of view. And she put on a great show.

 

But PLEASE calm down.

the shows were very different but i personally prefer the message and intent behind beyoncé's performance, and her vocals and dancing are much cleaner and more impressive to me 

 

gaga's looked entertaining and theatrical but didn't really seem like it was trying to do anything except prove she could serve the same thing she did back in 2009, which seems like why all the old millennial gay men are so excited

This is not even worthy of Coachella, this is literally high budget production of world tour

 

I wonder if this was basically The Mayhem Ball show or she will change it for the Rio performance and tour

Please be calm because the fanbase is excited? What fanbase started this thread? What fanbase has gone to every Coachella thread to say how bad gaga was?

 

You literally have posts above you talking about getting back at monsters for thinking "it's still 2011"

Just say her performance was amazing (which it was) and keep it pushing. Beyoncé ain't got nothing to do with that 

 

I don't know of anyone else that could of pulled off what Gaga did last night. Can you ? 

I voted Beyoncé simply because the setlist was better, included more of her hits, and the Destiny's Child section was a GAG. Had Gaga tweaked the setlist slightly it would have been better which I suspect she will for the following dates.  The costumes, stage, band, visuals etc. for Gagachella shitted on Bey but purely for the setlist, Bey won.

Both have their own lane, they are both excellent performers, and they couldn't be more different as artists.

Two legends, we are not worthy. 

As a stan of both ladies but a part of neither fanbase, I do have to laugh at the Hive trying to say the Liddos are insufferable cause.. pot meet kettle

 

What's happening in that Bey was matched in the showmanship department and now they're being passive aggressive about it cause Gaga's show was undeniably great and it threatens, if not topples, the mantle Bey held since her show. 

 

It's okay though. Bey is still great. She does what she does well. Gaga did something we never thought we'd see again, and elevated it to a new peak, of course people are going to like that more. Beychella was great but Bey is always great. Gaga was stagnant for almost a decade and suddenly came back during the Mayhem era with a fire we have never seen from her before, it's beyond exciting. Because it was so unexpected, it's just that much more exciting.
