Miley might be my favorite artist at the moment tbh. She's so versatile, her personality is to die for, she's always VERY authentic and none of that pretentious **** that other female popstars do, and

In the chorus of Miley Cyrus's song "Every Girl You've Ever Loved," she delves into themes of identity, self-worth, and the complexities of romantic relationships. The lyrics express a desire for deeper emotional connection beyond superficial interactions. Lines like "Aren't I pretty enough for more than fun in the dark?" and "I'm a little bit angel, I'm a little bit not" highlight the duality of her persona—both innocent and edgy—and question whether she is valued for her whole self or just for fleeting moments of passion.

The song also touches on feelings of comparison and insecurity. The repeated assertion "I'm every girl you've ever loved" suggests a multifaceted personality that encompasses various qualities and traits that one might seek in a partner. This line conveys a sense of both confidence and vulnerability, as she positions herself as embodying all the attributes of past lovers, yet still questions if that's enough to be truly loved and chosen.

Overall, the chorus captures the emotional tension between self-assuredness and the longing for genuine, committed love. It reflects the internal struggle of wanting to be seen and appreciated for one's complete self, rather than just fitting into an idealized image or serving as a temporary source of pleasure.

I don't want to jinx it but it's giving AOTY contender.

I mean, it kinda is tbh

Eusexua, Debi Tirar Mas Fotos, Something Beautiful and Ruby are my personal favs so far this year. One could make another case for Sincerly, tbh.

Yeah I hate the interludes. Why is Easy Lover sandwiched between them too. Like if you're gonna have them, space them out.

The slay if:

1. Prelude

2. Something Beautiful

3. End of the World

4. Easy Lover

5. More to Lose

6. Golden Burning Sun

7. Pretend You're God

8. Walk of Fame

9. Every Girl

10. Reborn

11. Give Me Love

yeah, i've thought about editing the tracks to be similar to this. the interludes are well made but they don't really serve a purpose.

oh how far we've come…he gave Plastic Hearts a 6 as well…I think this (8) is the highest score he's given to a main pop girl in a while besides Cowboy Carter (also 8)

This is easily her best body of work to date. All the trials and tribulations she has faced has brough us here. Pretend You're God is my favorite Milene song like woah...

he gave Dead Hymnz a 1????

More To Lose is a gorgeous ballad, am i right that it's a bit underrated?

Reborn is gorgeous, reminds me of 80's music (in a good way, sounds abba-esque).

As a Swifties, after listening to Taylor discography to celebrate the news

I just listen to this album now and woa what the hell she is thinking picking those singles.

Walk of fame, Everygirl would do much better with a radio edit.

Still have two songs left. But the album is surprisingly good after a bit dissapointment pre-release song. Exact problem like Selena album.

Great album overall but the pre release kill the hype.

I can't get enough of EGYEL. The emotion her vocals convey in the chorus is everything.

Yeah wof feels more like a "lead single" if you will with its bombast and attitude

No sales projections yet?

Delete this we ain't talking about it  :khalyan2:

A song not being catchy and being completely devoid of any hit potential doesn't make it quality or experimental.

The whole album is an utter bore. What in the blue eyed soul The Black Keys is going on with the singles? What in the chatgpt make an indie pop album prompt is this?

Idk was I just not in the right head space on Friday when this came out but relistening now I feel like I see the vision.

Still lukewarm on the interludes.
Give Me Love is that girrrrrl

She's doing album signings in NYC tomorrow - get those couple of thousand sales.

That AH-AH-AH-AH-AH-AH during Something Beautiful's bridge is sooo catchy :jonny5:

okay but why is Interlude 2 serving old school Tekken kind of excellence :WAP:

Whenever I press play I have to listen to the whole thing. There's no stopping this journey midway through! :jonnycat:

Just finished my first listen and holy **** that was incredible. The second part of the album is such an amazing trip. Especially Reborn what a heavenly experience was that. Snatching tickets to the movie right now!
