  1. Apparently it's an another older legend
  2. I fear people expect more from her for some reason despite calling her both basic/boring and pretentious in the same breath. Like you would think someone who's been flopping for more than a decade with a few hits here and there wouldn't have all these threads about how she's gonna flop again yet people care so much for some reason…
  3. So we are getting another song next Friday? 👀
  4. It's so funny to see one camp love this song but trash on Something Beautiful while the other claiming the opposite...and then you got people writing think pieces about why they think Miley hasn't found her sound when in reality she'll never be confined to any one genre and that's what makes most of her releases so polarizing because she doesn't follow expectations or trends leading from the last record. If she wanted to, she could've made Plastic Hearts 2.0 like people were begging or Flowers 2.0 to get an easy hit, but it's so clear she does just what she wants to. So I really don't get the narrative that some people are suggesting she's lost or is trying to chase some sound when her commitment to exploration beyond boundaries is so clear. Sometimes it lands, sometimes it doesn't, but just because you don't like it does not mean she's not making the music SHE wants to.
  5. I mean sure maybe for the lead single which has to be marketable...but I guarantee an album with Model/Actriz and Andrew Wyatt features is not chasing a hit sound hence the other snippet we heard of track 2/different religion LMAO
  6. Does it matter? Considering how quickly she's releasing music, it just seems she's really inspired these days and making some of the best music of her career (Something Beautiful HELLO)...and people can say she cares about charts because oh she releases vinyl variants or puts up billboards around the world but that's kinda the standard for an artist of her status...and I'm sure she'd rather a label fund her than to make music independently
  7. It's so funny how much she changes year to year like you're telling me this Miley is the same one that's been rolling on the floor in her music videos for the past decade
  8. And is she calling labeling herself "cool" as you suggest or is it the world perceiving her as that girl...just bitter because people like her LMAO
  9. LMAO do y'all hear yourselves "it's not who she is..." but you do?!
  10. I just can't take y'alls opinions so seriously bc you got people hating on this but praising Flowers and others loving this but hating Something Beautiful like we don't need the essays on how she's regressing or is bound to flop when simply the style of the song is just not for you...
  11. "Flowers was flawless" Opinion automatically disregarded
  12. She's back to working with Kid Harpoon (most of Endless Summer Vacation) as producer...I loved this track but really hoping she did more work with Shawn Everett because after Something Beautiful, this production feels somewhat bare
  13. And once again for a 10th album Miley finds a way to consistently expand her sound and try something new
  14. Just went through the cast and it looks like a bunch of dancers/coreographers who have worked with the likes of Gaga, Taylor, Sabrina, Rihanna, Beyonce, and more cast: adam vesperman, zavion brown, jaiden anthony, alex mateo, diego pasillas, devin neal, adrian hoffman, avery jerome, mario harris, kalium richardson, casey alexander sheehan, misha metelkov, kalon badenhorst, ash kole, ami takashima, mia maxwell, china taylor, briana morrison, alexis "lex" kendal wong, skylar altman, amadi akilah oubicon, andrea bess, adriano bettinelli, gaynor hicks, donna april, pauline casino, sam mcwilliams, byron tittle, darius hickman, garrett, emerson leo, scott hislop, marianne ryan, regan carrington, stefano tomadini, trip wilson, haylee mack, marko detweiler, gary giannoni, luis medina, armonn livingston, emily leventhal
  15. The way she doesn't have a bad lead single...besides the Bouquet song but even then that was a Grammy-winning smash
