This truly feels so meta I feel like her inner monologue around celebrity and fame at the height of her career while taking a left turn instead of doubling down and repeating herself is so ******* cool. I feel like I keep thinking of HIFN while I listen to it and I'm drawn back to that a lot. Being a fan for so long and watching her trajectory through the mixtapes all the way up to this is so bloody satisfying. She truly is a rockstar. I can't help it feel if she was a man it would be hailed as some groundbreaking 1975 indie darling and bc she's a woman is loud and noisy and agro. Side bar - she resigned a 2 album deal after Crash assuming WH doesn't count does this mean she's a free agent again?

I think either way the music will stand for itself regardless of this fiasco of a promo cycle. It's clear the label are not invested in her - unless that are planning big push in the final month which is unlikely. In a perfect world they'd drop another single at month out from the release, she'd have a spot on Graham Norton and some podcast interview lined up and generate some buzz but that seems like a pipe dream atm

I would think with new management and new publishing it's giving restructuring behind the scenes that kind of gives me hope she's gearing up to leave after this and maybe go independent or sign a distribution deal

Me too trying to make sense of the silence in the campaign? New management new live representation new publishing deal and now silence makes Me think there's a bigger plan for after the album drops?

Kasabian is releasing the 4th of Sept so either the no.1 chances are out the window or we are looking at a delay 🤡
