Yes it kinda did. It was a great album but I had higher expectations. There was too much time in between the lead single and album release and she had already performed many of the songs prior to release.

I guess but it's still on repeat for me, really amazing album

If you consider she starting rolling this out in September it feels like it has been omnipresent on twitter for a while imo. 

 

Still easily the best album out this year so far.

people with immaculate taste? sure!

magdalene is one of my fav albums ever and yet i haven't listened to this one… there's something about it that makes me distant and i guess im not the only one 

The way my expectations were so high for this record and on my first listen, I didn't end up enjoying it that much.
 

I gave it another shot and enjoyed it more. That being said, it's definitely a step down from her 2 earlier records.

 

I do see it growing more on me so who knows if I change my mind in the future, but for now I feel like it's very overrated. 

it has 10 excellent, 10/10 tracks but it's simply too short to last I think, she really should have dropped the deluxe. I do listen to it a lot though still. (Also I personally think Wanderlust is awful)

It kinda reminds me of Magdalene and everyone was tuning on in release, but Eusexua feels bigger I think

It's still the best album release this year. BRAT summer was never gonna be replicated by anyone else. It was one of those lightning in a bottle capturing the zeitgeist moments.

just because it didn't have the brat effect, it doesn't mean people forgot about it. It's a great album x

FKA Twigs highly anticipated new record EUSEXUA was at one point a huge contender to be the 2025 AOTY. But after it came out, despite the critical acclaim, the record was kind of dropped by the gays. Why? Is it a good record? Was it a dissapointment? Would be the record snatch some Grammy noms?
