Let's be real we'd all be dragging Xtina I was around (not ATRL but on other forums) Stanwars: Madonna vs Mariah Before the white pop girl stans labeled Bey as local, Madonna stans were doing it to Mariah. Mariah was huge in the US coming off EOM, while Madonna famously was huge everywhere else with COAD with US being her weakest market. Beyonce vs Britney The gap between the two kept widening after the early 00s. Here is where Bey hits her commercial peak while Brit is already on the decline

People exaggerate how bad it is; they act like it's a Katy Perry album. It's a mediocre album that's part of a streak of mediocre albums that started with Midnight's. Made worse by the fact that she just keeps pumping these out yearly like a factory.

Liked and respected are different things. Rihanna is obviously liked by everyone, hated by no one. But respect among critics, GP, musicians it's Beyonce by far. Billie, Adele, Gaga to an extent, Olivia are also up there.
