  1. Not Celine. Plenty of older rock dads (like mine) mock her and her music. It's probably Cher or Julie Andrews
  2. We all know. It's just playful stan banter to poke fun at each other's faves. All our faves do it if people want them.
  3. I don't understand what this argument even is. The difference in streams is irrelevant. At the end of the day, Beyonce will be regarded as literally one of the biggest legends in music history. Up there with Madonna, Whitney, etc. Britney/xtina had big success in the TRL era but Bey passed them a long, long time ago. No offense to fans of these artists, but it's a bit insulting to even compare Bey to them. No amount of streams or book sales or whatever will change any of this.
  4. Good..so next time Bey does it, we shouldn't see any Gaga Avi in that thread talking crap
  5. Coming for Gracie Abrams throne
  6. The album sucks..it's as simple as that
  7. The confidence she has to put out a theatrical release. I didn't even know this was happening
  8. People wanted to check out Bey doing country but they don't really care to listen to it beyond that. She made her point, got the Grammy, but it's not want people want to listen to.
  9. Honestly they never stopped. While one was more successful than the other, both are a product of the late 90s/early 00s and were both left there in that time period.
  10. Xtina, Cher, katy, Kylie, miley
  11. They are a Britney stan first and foremost, but forced to stan someone else for obvious reasons. The irony being that now Rihanna has retired.
  12. Sure..but if u rank them by biggest legacy, longevity, talent, catalog, acclaim, and many other metrics. Bey would be #1. And unfortunately for you, Britney would be last
  13. Wow all that forcing them down our throats worked?
  14. Globalyoncé strikes again Wow at Celine. That would be like Madonna or Mariah being top 10 in the US
  15. Yes Audreymania is just getting started
  16. If it outperformed the previous release and did well for the standards of an almost 70yo woman, then is that not a success ?
  17. 5 weeks is fine honestly. Nobody expected this album not to flop. She's 67. And according to OP, she's top 10 in most weeks on the chart for someone that late in their career after Elton/Cher which is not bad company.
  18. Exactly. This isn't Rihanna who retired on her own terms. Britney was flopping years before she retired. Retiring was the natural thing to do, and selling your music and effectively throwing in the towel was the next logical step. She had a good run for a few years, made a few classics that people love from that time and that's good for her. but she cannot be compared to an active legend who is still churning out hits.
  19. Now we're comparing Bey to Maroon 5?
  20. And Katy has more than all of them. Beyonce is the only one that is a legend as her career goes beyond streams. It's nice that people stream their few hits owned by Litmus (all from 20 years ago) but Beyonce is working on longevity, impact, artistry, and acclaim.
