Added to pop list playlist

Assuming Sam and her team have seen all the drags on social media (towards label and team support) and have decided to do the bare minimum. A few playlists (low down) isn't going to do much but hopefully it pushes Perrie's music in the direction of some new listeners

1. Its quite funny how people just think a team can make a sole decision on weather or not a song gets added to a playlist on spotify..

2. Seeing a lot of people complain about her promo on my timeline but what exactly do they want her to do? The UK doesnt have many promo opportunities at all

I wonder who rejected these songs before they made their way to her.

Rollercoaster sounds ok, but in a very Radio 2 fodder / bottom of the Pop Rising playlist kind of way. Woman In Love sounds bad. But they both sound equally indistinctive and don't really make use of

  • NEITHER.   She needs to get back in the studio and find her sound because his bland faceless music isn't going to help her career.   She has such an amazing voice I just can't unde

I feel like her team are (rightly) getting dragged on social media. They really need to up their game.

I mean they can atleast tell her the songs are not it and sound like royalty free music.

PerrieHQ feels like it is aimed towards 10 year olds...

Spotify[Feb 14]: 102,940

More than double Christmas Magic's debut (50,059), this is good if you think about it

Spoiler

:clack:

This is pretty decent but we all know it's not going to do anything. Her singles have just been too bland and sadly she started her solo career around a decade too late. With five songs (plus Christmas Magic) already out there her label might as well push on with the album release and bring this messy era to a close. If there's to be any reinvention then let it be for her second era.

She's very sweet though and I hope for the best for her in her entertainment career. If she's comfortable with it, she would be a great TV presenter and an especially good talk show host. It could be one way of drawing more attention to her as a solo artist since (like she and others in this thread have mentioned) there aren't many promo opportunities in the UK anymore.

she will end up on Capital FM i'm sure.

Im at a loss, I really am not sure what to say as far as her solo career. Everythings been said by all fans.

They really dropped the ball not releasing a cohesive pop/rock EP right after her debut single (which is her best song). That genre would have solidified her a fanbase and a distinctive sound/look.

@mods Perrie is an up-and-coming indie artist from the UK who just released her new single Rollercoaster, please consider giving her a banner htis week to promote it as she could really use the support, thank you

It's a nice gesture sweetie.

However it's a hard time rn for Perrie and this was only a promo song for the fans :jonny2:

Yeah no, that song ain't it. I really liked Forget About Us, but it sounded more like a third single. Every other released song from her has been weak.

I don't get how they had so many amazing songs as LM, but they can't come up with anything close quality wise.
Jade's AOMD was great, but I expected more from each of the 4 girls tbh. And I'm not saying this as a hater, I loved them since X Factor.

It's weird because Perrie was the one who pushed for Sweet Melody to be a single, so she obviously has some sensibilities around what makes a hit pop song

I'm really enjoying the song, it's a grower for sure but I can see what is everyone saying. It lacks personality, like most of her songs. Everything she has released is good, but it doesn't match her potential. Jade's and Leigh's songs had more of their own personalities but looks like Perrie has no direction. I hope she gets back on track, she has so much potential and I can't wait to see her on tour tbh.

She's had the worst solo rollout out of all the girls. The Ed Sheeran single was a mistake, like they couldn't get him to feature?

These cookie cutter dance pop records that anybody could single are never gonna break her into the market.

Ballad or back to the drawing board

Not ATRL doing more promo for her than her team!:suburban:

But I have to say, this song is really growing on me. Too bad this song is going nowhere commercially :gaycat6:

I agree with this. I hated the song on release but the more I've listened to it, I've loved it

Inoffensive, fun bop.

I fear, for all the girls, it's time to reunite Little Mix. Solo just is not meant for them :ryan3:

They should be doing a Gwen Stefani... Releasing music as a group as well as solo albums/EP's.

Idk why they're going this completely solo thing tbh.

Someone please take the vocal stems and ship them off to a different producer because there was real potential here, they needed to fully lean in to the 90s Mariah vibes production-wise as well, not this cheap sounding 2016-lite production…

As much as I love LM4 i'm enjoying their solo output and seeing what they put out next.

I'm loving Jade, Jesy (including her leaks) and Leigh-Anne's solo material so i'd like to see what else they release. I'm also hoping Perrie will eventually put out better music.

I feel like there needs to be a bigger break before coming back, maybe 2031 to celebrate the 20 year anniversary?
