Last year's winner felt so uneventful. He's so talented but it wasn't my fave to win. Even espresso macchiato and deslocado have surpassed 100M streams on Spotify, while wasted love has just reached 50M. I'm glad Bangaranga has already so much success in Europe, despite the competition's boycott from multiple countries. And especially coming from such a small country, this is huge for her and Bulgaria.

Because they are "Balkan" countries and they are never considered as a threat. But I'm glad that televoting this year showed that Balkan countries are capable of scoring high results.

Ever since Dara's win, I've been obsessed with her discography. I can't wait for her EP, she had better drop it before summer with some nice visuals. Akylas is already dropping a new album tomorrow.

I just wanna rant about the Greek entry with Akylas. I'm so proud for our song this year and the televote result of #6 (#5 if you count out Israhell's rigging) is the best we have received in years. The juries putting us down low was unfair, since Poland and France were boosted by them while the public barely gave them any votes. (Hence missing the top 10) The only thing also that brought us down is our creative director. We need a new fresh direction, new face and new ideas and we have to let Fokas go at some point. Dara's creative direction is what gave her the edge, it literally looked like a music video coming to life and that's what made this win so refreshing. We need new ideas in the competition and people to adjust, not serve that same things all the time. Sweden despite being wonderful in my opinion, served the same they always do with lasers and lights so it was predictable and people are not eating that anymore.
