Streaming numbers rebounded nicely from Sunday to Monday, 900k is good, great to see it still sitting so close to 1m streams.

I still think the best thing that her label/team can do, now, is send one of Plastic Box/FUFN/Before You Break My Heart to US radios AOMD is not radio friendly in the slightest and it's not going to get huge airplay, but she's got one foot in the door with a BBH100 entry now, they need to use this as leverage and try to keep the momentum going for her. I know they won't, but I really do think they should.

I am SO unbelievably thrilled and delighted for her, this is such an incredible achievement and it's so richly well deserved.

I think she'd need to completely rework the lyrics if she intends to release a new version with the intro / ballad style production all the way throughout The lyrics of the verses are camp, a little silly, and very tongue in cheek. I think they only really work because of the production style on the original compliments that. I won't be able to take it seriously if she's there belting out "if I don't win I'm in the bin" and "fair that I buy you sushi" in genuine earnestness over that angelic production dddd She kinda gets away with it with the SAD version etc because there's still a bit of a contrast, but the verses need that "punch" for it to work properly, imo. I doubt she'd do that, but it's another reason why I just would rather she didn't do it. I don't think the song needs it (artistically).

100 million streams is AMAZING! So well deserved and very happy for her. She's about to hit 5 million monthly listeners for the first time in her career, too. Fantasy has also been getting a nice tiny little boost in streams, with the run up to Halloween. I've noticed it gets a little boost at Halloween (probably because it was released in Oct, has a horror movie themed music video and the title I suppose is vaguely Halloween adjacent) She's also off to attend Heidi Klum's Halloween party in New York this evening, which is cool!

It's literally far too late for this, it's really frustrating that her label don't seem to see that. The initial hype/trend has died down, people are already over it and the damage is already done with so many new listeners already deciding they hate the full song. Not to mention, knowing how fickle and annoying these types of people are… the same people that were the ones hounding her to "rework" the song will absolutely be the FIRST people to switch up again and drag her for "pandering" or whatever. They aren't going to support her and her label/team should not be trying to appease them. Just be glad about what it did and move on to the next album, idk..

Some interesting stats, as per MusicWeek As revealed in Alan Jones' latest charts analysis, the hit saw a 328.8% week-on-week uplift to 16,607 units (Official Charts Company) after no longer being subject to ACR. Angel Of My Dreams, which is approaching 100 million Spotify streams to date, experienced its biggest ever streaming day on the platform on October 20 – two days after Jenner's runway bow. It recorded a 4,300% increase globally and a 1,400% boost in the UK, while streams of Jade's music on the service went up 760%. The track's current UK sales now total 626,484, while parent album That's Showbiz Baby! increases consumption 55.25% week-on-week. Its current tally is 77,638 units. That's Showbiz Baby! scored the biggest opening week for a debut album in 2025, peaking at No.3 with 23,262 sales upon its release via RCA in September last year. RCA triumphed in the Artist Marketing Campaign category at the Music Week Awards. The album also topped the Official Record Store Chart, following Jade's Jade Parade tour of independent record shops across the UK.

#13 on the charts is AMAZING, thrilled about that. As expected, out of Global Spotify and most likely won't return but streams should stabilise at a good number. Jade kinda hinted in an interview with Sam Murphy that the label are basically pressuring her to release a new version of the song. I have MANY thoughts on that which I won't get in to, but… it's kinda too little too late for a new version now dddd, people move on quick.

Tbh I'm still gagged every time I check Spotify and see that this song's streams have jumped up by another +1 million every day. I don't think we truly appreciate how insane that is, to go from 30k a day to 1m+ a day. I think I read somewhere that it would have taken about 500+ days to reach 100 million streams based on its previous daily numbers, now it's going to get there before the end of November. That's incredible.

Just about clung on to Spotify Global at #200 but it'll probably drop out from tomorrow, I definitely think this has peaked and I think trying to "push" this now is just a bit of a waste of time and resources. I don't mind the odd tik tok here and there but there's no point trying to book promo slots to push a song that the American audience clearly do not want to embrace on a large scale. It's been a bit frustrating seeing how the online commentary has suddenly shifted and now new listeners are saying the song "sucks" and that it's "generated for TikTok" when that's literally the opposite of what the song actually is, but eh.. those that get it, get it. It's a shame as this really could and should have been a huge breakout moment for her that should really translate in to something long lasting, but I guess you can't force people to like something. Still, the song is now doing much better than before so we should at least be glad about that. Hopefully she'll at the very least get a bit more attention on her when she drops the lead single from the second album next year. She's far too talented and her music is too good for her not to see the success she deserves, eventually.

Is there really any bigger promo in the year of 2026 than your song instantly blowing up online & going mega viral all over Tik Tok and Instagram? It was top 5 most Shazammed song across the globe & has already seen such a massive spike in streams, number 1 trending song online in a lot of countries (and she already has two years worth of promotional activities the algorithm will be pushing on to people's feeds) I really don't see this having any real 'legs' beyond now stabilising and getting some decent recurring streams. Of course I'd LOVE for this to continue growing (it's a brilliant song and Jade is so talented, she deserves this success), but streams are decreasing in the US already and too many people are complaining about the full track not sounding like the chorus, so lowkey I think we just accept it did what it did and limit our expectations for what it will continue to do. This level of exposure is surely going to put her in a good position to get some better playlist support when she launches her next era. I hope that she continues to see more success and gain new fans from this. Like I said earlier, if they're serious about wanting to build something long lasting from this exposure then they need to push another song so that the casual American audience don't just dismiss her entirely after realising they don't really like the full song. I've seen too many people commenting things like "I switched the song off immediately" etc and that's not really the kind of reception you want from such a big audience if you intend to be a 'main pop girl'. Like once people make up their mind on you it's really difficult to win them over. Just my thoughts, anyway.

I'd argue that FUFN is actually one of her most mainstream sounding tracks, tbh. It's a classic pop banger, has a big anthemic chorus and probably her most "sing a long to" song in her discography, it gets the most daily streams out of all her songs behind AOMD The swearing isn't an issue, there's a radio friendly edit, lots of hit songs over the years have been explicit songs with a radio friendly edit (Forget You by CeeLo Green springs to mind) Anyway this does feel like a moot point tho bc the label definitely won't be pushing this or any other song lol, it'll be all hands on deck to milk AOMD for all it's worth
