Idk how you can recover from an unwanted 5 year hiatus... I really hope it'll work out for them in the end

They'll be fine... they will never reach their full potential unfortunately but if they decide to comeback as a group or as solo acts in 2029 they'll have their fans

If it rose on YTM today it's because I've been playing it on repeat since this morning in the background. And I think probably a few other people in the world are playing it, too, but I believe my streams to be of more importance.

Like, the song is fun, but why make the group sing in English when they clearly can't speak it? At 1.35 it sounds like the guy says "I don't want a band, I need a MAN" (instead of "mil", according to the subtitles). :rip:

After all the torments, death threats and bullying from majority of the Tokkis,

the JUSTICE is served :clap3:

I wish I could have the level of delusion that a HYBE stan has. You can literally go back in this thread or just check the Internet and see people commenting on not being able to tell ILLIT apart from NewJeans because the plagiarism was so blatant.

You all have 0 respect for art and that's why we keep getting so many blatant clone groups like ILLIT.

you cant pay your way out of this contract unless the judge orders the option. sadly hybe can keep them until it expires 2029 or work out a deal with them but seems unlikely considering how the court ordered mediations flopped

BOTS have been projecting this abandonment narrative that she just ditched the girls to save herself and as an artist you dont ditch your masterpiece like that. it would not be a good look to just debut another group i honestly thought the ooak announcement earlier this week was made in hopes of a favorable ruling.

so true and hate to say it but huntr/x took that crown :1878188721_deadbanana2z-Copy: people even want them to tour...

HUNTR/X have taken 0 records from NJ but like 6 from BTS already. Why would you use them to punch down on NJ?

4 hours ago, Antunes said:

yeah this was predictable. they decided to forget how a contract works, and they didn't have any legitimate claims. but the real fallout is the damage they did to their brand and how, out of sheer spite, they fueled one of the biggest hate trains i've ever seen against Illit.

Their claims were entirely legitimate and would be upheld in a foreign court of law. Infringement of intellectual property, workplace abuse, etc. are typically valid - the problem here is that South Korea's GDP relies on K-pop so their government allows these seedy ass slave contracts to exist even if it harms the artists. It's been documented incredibly well since H.O.T.

And claiming NJ fueled the spite towards ILLIT is so ass-backwards. The label literally plagiarized NJ to a tee while mistreating and trying to torpedo their careers. The creative directors at the same company called out blatant fraud and that is their right since ILLIT's directors plagiarized NJ's creative team.

Y'all need to learn to start blaming the company. They have the responsibility to stop plagiarism and create synergy across their labels.

NJ will come back strong, make a huge splash… and then fade just as fast. Mark my words. Y'all get caught up in hype and sentiment, but never stop to look at the history or how the industry actually works

You have tons of posts here praising the longevity of Miss A. If you think NJ won't have longevity, then that's a really good sign for them.

Why can't we settle down on the fact that Min HeeHee is a horrible person?

She was using "misogyny" as a defence for her actions of trying to plot against HYBE and why she was being mistreated in the company. But in the process of doing so, she was showing blatant misogyny against ILLIT and LSRF; as if those girls had a cent in what they're being told to do.

BTS stans hating NJ for exposing HYBE's payola will never not be funny to me. Maybe put this concern into both Rose and HUNTR/X destroying all of BTS's global records, instead.

Because she's a mother. :bibliahh: Everything she did is right.

Yup Tokkis is that delusional.

Bang Shitty was stupid for hiring that evil woman. Karma for him as well. After everything he did for that woman, she tried to betrayed him. He's such a loser. I bet he secretly likes Heehee but she only cared for money and power. Both of them can rot in the jail together.

Heehee turn next.

I think Tokkis admitting MHJ did anything wrong/is maybe not acting in their best interest is an implicit concession that their faves may have made an unwise decision to stake their entire career and reputation on her CEO appointment

just yesterday RM made a speech defending kpop but can we take it seriously when this is happening in a company he helped build

Sometimes i can't tell if people are rage baiting or if they truly stand on the site of  a corporate company in 2025 :deadbanana:

I really hope this has a negative impact on HYBE. It's crazy how stans don't realize this is not just about NJ but also about other groups who are abused at the workplace trying to speak up. With NJ losing a lot won't even try. It's a sad day to be an idol

How can a company infringe upon their own intellectual property? The company owns the rights to all their shit and can use it as they wish.

Even if they did require permission from someone to reuse NJ intellectual property, it wouldn't be the girls that would be the one to grant that permission. They don't own squat.

y'all are so unaware of how business works in the real world

Miss A 2010 - 2015

NewJeans 2022- 2024

Miss A songs will still be used in  tv shows and survival shows, i doubt NJ songs will ever be played after this

Thank you for reminding us how i am always RIGHT

Now SEETHE and enjoy your "Hiatus" :fan:
