Well, yes, I guess. I think she is a entertaining musician, one or two flop eras are not going to change this.

I have become a Christina Aguilera fan once her career was already past its peak, where nasty rumors were already flying around and so on, so I am not bothered with it by Katy as well.

If you're going to do something controversial and unpopular you need to stand by it and defend yourself OR apologize. Baiting controversy and then trying to weasel out of the criticism by pretending it wasn't in your control or trying to minimize an executive producer's involvement is pitiful behavior, especially considering how serious the crimes in question are. I will always have a soft spot for Katy because I grew up a stan and her concerts are some of my most treasured memories but I really respect her a whole lot less now. I didn't even bother listening to the album and I was on here defending her constantly before it dropped. :deadbanana4:

No, and it all stems from the Luke decision.

This. Plus the many instances where she's attacked her peers and legends that came before her.

My dislike doesn't stem from misogyny which is the case of many users here and that's why you won't see me actively hating her. It comes from me being unable to understand her character. And she doesn't even try to make things better.

She has no morals and will do anything to achieve success. So, no.

Yes, her album was amazing! No matter what the haters say

Katy Perry has earned her place among the pop legends of the 21st century, building a respected catalog that will be celebrated as 'throwback' music for decades to come.

Miss Perry also holds a place in many people's childhoods or teenage years, whether it was through hearing her on the radio, seeing her live, or discussing her on ATRL. She was a part of our lives, in big or small ways.

I think we should respect that—especially as the music world shifts toward a new generation of pop artists who seem to lack that 'blockbuster' touch.

Yes. I won't turn my back on a woman who's been such a huge part of my life and whose music I genuinely enjoy, no matter what era it came from.

She's proven time and time again throughout her career that she never means any harm and just wants to make fun music. Seeing all the bullies constantly being up her ass is just depressing.

Why don't you stream CRUSH aka SOTY from 143 aka AOTY for a change?:celestial4::heart:

Not at all. Always thought that she screams too much in her music but at least back then she had hits. Now for me it's a 0

This is a really stupid thing to say. Disliking a woman doesn't make you a misogynist. Disliking women would make you a misogynist, which isn't the case here since we're discussing this individual's behavior and album. Learn to treat people as individuals

Of course, and I always will like her.

Hypocrite people acting like she's committed a war crime for simply employing her past collaborator professionally on an album and endlessly attacking her alone does not make them the moral gurus that they so desperately pretend to be.

Who does even stan her at this point?

Bad music, bad live performances and also a bad human being.
