No one will convince me to hate this album, it serves its exact purpose of some easy listening pop music and for that I love it and it's an album I could easy listen to anytime

this is how Katy should be styled this era. very similar to what she's doing, just give a bit more color... Katy is known for colorful and the beige grey is not doing her or the music any justice.

One thing I'll give her: the LIFETIMES - ALL THE LOVE - NIRVANA run is kinda good? 

I've been sitting on this album and it's honestly not that bad. It's unremarkable and anticlimactic and a lot of the choruses don't quite hit and the lyrics are 7th grader talent show, but it's a regular 2.5/3-star album. I'm not hearing the historical all-time-worst-reviewed quality. It's very exaggerated

I just wish she did more songs from One Of the Boys with the guitar. Also Wide Awake needed to be a piano power ballad, not an electro beat. 

Yea wtf was that trance version of Wide Awake. She needs to switch that up.

This era is chromo-centred, digital Y2K themed. It makes sense for the album, as that is where majority of the production choices and soundscapes come from. The album is eurodance, eurobeats during that period, mixed with the equally desaturated EDM of the early 2010s.

Imagine giving 52 to one of the greatest pop album ever... I guess their 38 is like 83 in real life. 

Kinda hate her voice on truth, and I love that song
