  1. People don't know the existence of the song. The song is a certified banger.
  2. Idc about streams, for me it's SOTY so far
  3. Exactly. They're just childish and immature in a way that is useless to even discuss with them, it'd be an insult to my intelligence honestly
  4. It's clear that most of the public doesn't even know that she has a new song out. If someone expected a big streaming debut it was wrong from the beginning, unless they would have invested in playlisting and autoplay after TOTGA. Katy is one of the biggest popstars worldwide, I don't think this could ever be taken away from her, given her prime and catalogue, but the lack of promo and a recent hit let pass her new releases basically undercover. Promo is the key of commercial success for the most part in the current industry, but I think she's past worrying about all of that, she just does what she wants with her music regardless receiving label support and I think it's understandable by her pov. I love the new songs and this genre, I'm happier with her still having something worth to tell though her music instead of nothing just because of numbers.
  5. She is the biggest artist of Capitol and I bet still the most lucrative, so I guess they let her do what she wants, but they don't invest on additional promo like playlisting.
  6. I don't think they expected a smash debut. As long as she keeps making music and giving us high budget videos I don't care if the songs don't chart. It's really not a problem for a 20 years long career.
  7. There's an obvious difference between celebrating your fave's success and being so invested to drag commercial performance of an artist you say you don't care about or dislike. Maybe other Katycats do it as well, but I don't, I never comment on songs or artists I don't like. But I guess I'm too utopian for ATRL.
  8. I'm not a girl but whatever, the song isn't good for OKHs of course. I see totally uninteresting songs to me on chart all the time, but I don't make it a drama and Idc, I just listen to something else, we can all do it.
  9. I wonder if you all only listen to songs that are on top200. Otherwise I don't get this obsession over numbers. In any case I'm sorry for you
  10. Oh I didn't know you own a trademark on your tag… then you have to ask ATRL to prohibit to tag you. Till that time I fear I have to kindly reject your request
  11. @GAGAISTHEBESTYA are you sure you're not a Katycat? You literally keep flooding Katy's threads without apparent reasons.
  12. I fear you're the only one
  13. Is there someone so kind to explain to some of us how this streams count works?
  14. Again who cares about numbers in 2026. It's a powerhouse banger and new classic. It's enough for me
  15. OHHH LILY (Rita has always been a friend)
  16. I'm loving every single photo, she looks sickening
  17. Sorry to be this direct, but the amount of bull***s you all say about Katy is wild. He literally did the podcast with her and said very nice things about her artistry. At least fact-check the bare minimum before making the usual fiasco saying the most random and incorrect things
  18. The storyline is about her last year breakup with her daughter's father, which was a total heartbreak for her, especially since they were together for nearly a decade. But with Bandaids and WIB we come to know that during the years she suffered several delusions and tough moments from that relationship: while Bandaids represents the immediate automatic response to emotional pain trying to cure it or avoiding it, WIB represents the embracing of the anger after it for finally letting it go and moving on. After these dark moments she's ready to point to the light again.
  19. If you're not prejudicial towards Katy, you can really tell that this is a strong work, both the song and the video. I'm totally in love with the fact that Bandaids and WIB have been made with the intention of being a continuum, both conceptually and visually. Sooo cool and thoughtful.
  20. In this song Katy channels her darkness/anger and the scorpio tail is a metaphor of that part of her inner nature that she released to heal and move on from her sadness and delusions. The choice of the Scorpio is due to her sign.
  21. Clearly. Bandaids and WIB are directly connected.
  22. As always the OKHs on here embarrass themselves. They've to act like it's not a good song but they can only come up with the useless "it's dated, it's generic, it's boring"… well, at least she'll never be as generic and boring as your posts
  23. If all the comments were so polite and argumentative the world would be a perfect place, so don't worry. I agree on the fact that WIB is genuinely stronger than Bandaids, but I think that they compose a pretty solide pair, with a cool concept as a whole relatable for all of us: trying to cure and repair to the pain at first as an automatic response and then embracing it and finally letting it go as way to truly move on. I also disagree with who says that her voice sounds so polished, I think that especially in first verse the voice sound so raw, more than what we heard from her in years. I would be very happy for an album with this style. For the acoustic topic I think that Katy doesn't have to make music to chase commercial success (if it happens it's good of course, but she doesn't need to make her motive), so if she wants to embrace this new raw/authentic self with an acoustic album I'm totally here for it. Her acoustic performance are always beautiful and her voice shines the most in them. So this could actually doing wonder for her credibility as an artist over some prejudicial public and pop stans.
  24. It's wild how some of you on here never listened to Prism in full
