Actually loving this title now. I am sure it will make total sense in the context of the album. Miss Lipa is about to drop a BODY of work, I can feel it. 

But I was told by ATRL that her album was scrapped and her label had sent her back to the drawing board

She’s just working on the first deluxe edition/re-release!  It’ll be out in time for Christmas

sorry but something happened... the aesthetic has totally changed, it's no longer in the same color palette as the visuals released (?) and out of nowhere comes a sea look, something summery? What does this have to do with Houdini and Training Season?

The color palette being a white background with red hair?  

 

Y’all are so fickle, hating the visuals, so she changes it slightly to make it not solely a white background with her headshot and then she gets criticized for showing a touch of variety. It’s pretty clear Training Season and Houdini are summery/upbeat songs about finding confidence/being confident, the album cover is her being confident/cool/collected even though there are sharks in the water with her. 

 

Some posts really are better kept in the drafts. 

I weirdly love the cover. Perched for the album nonetheless

Dua shot the rest of the fn album shoot in November 2019 so way before physical

The entire color palate changed. I fear she’s over. Don’t even release that album, she needs to go back to the drawing board. I, Relampago., know more than her entire team who gets paid to curate and plan for her. You heard it here first: Dua Lipa is a FLOP and Future Nostalgia will be her FINAL album!

Not a fan of the title or cover…. But very excited for the music. Kevin Parker has been doing an amazing job. Love both singles. Hopefully we keep getting the extended edits.

i’m conflicted. this picture doesn’t work as a cover at all but I’m in seeing other pictures from this set because there are some elements I really like

 

on one hand the bleached brows are more interesting but she looks prettier with her natural brows. i love the darker sky and the glitter bra but maybe she wanted to stay as far as possible from the FN aesthetic? i like that it’s a close up but there’s no concept here. it could’ve been a mix of this picture and the main cover with the shark

Perhaps but I also feel like a lot of this is confirmation bias.

 

TAP would probably make her perform more and maybe try a bit more TTH payola, but they can’t make Houdini/TS match the popular sound of the US atm. If we didn’t know she’d switched managers, we’d find something else to blame Houdini/TS not being DSN-level smashes on.
