The Britpop influence has been mentioned since the rollingstone interview so it’s not new information. Also the press release today mentioned exploring sounds of “psychedelia, trip hop and Britpop”

Loved the title and the aesthetic. Didn’t get blue from the music, but it is a psychedelic color. Its pretty much a Tame Impala color too 

 

I’m sure the third single will come more aligned with the album aesthetics and Houdini and TS will seem more like appetizers and transitional, because they were giving more black and moody for sure, but then it’s winter in the northern hemisphere and these blue and summer-ish aesthetics would feel out of place (not in may)

Do you think these were added in the re recorded tracks ? 

yeah i'll keep my expectations low because the first 2 singles were just ok for me. If those are the strongest songs out of 11... idk.
