Perrie - "Forget About Us"

Featured Replies

I don't know about this. The verses sound kinda unfinished and like she's rushing to fit in as many words as possible. Once the song gets going about half way through it's good, but the beginning is so uneventful

  • Not bad actually but don't insult her by comparing to Kelly Clarkson (a fake person with bad personality/music and whatever) hope it do well

  • Every. Single. Time. I scroll by this thread my head instantly goes I DON'T WANT YOU EVER TO FORGET ABOUT US   I'm so excited to hear this in full!

  • It sounds dated af…

She's a nasty woman for making the best part the snippet we've had for ages :jonnycat:

The first 60 seconds had me thinking i was listening to the acoustic edit, it's still an incredible song, i can see it doing well.

I'm emotional, our girl Perrie did that!

Especially since being a fan since the very beginning in 2011, so proud of her. I love it.

I feel like the video has the ability to really amplify how good this song is!!

The first 35 seconds until the chorus hits in feel weird, starting with the second verse... this is a complete smash.

If Colbie Caillat and Kelly Clarkson had a baby, it would be this song.

It's very catchy and not offensive at all - I think radio will eat this up. Especially in the summer.

had my volume all the way up and the intro almost gave me a heart attack :bibliahh:

love the song tho, perfect introduction to her solo career. radio should eat this up

How does it compare to Austin by Dasha? Better? Equal? :dancehall:

I don't really think they sound comparable. Austin sounds like a typical country song that could be sung by anyone. Like I said earlier I might sound bias but Perrie is someone who's voice I've been listening to for 13 years and it is recognisable. I couldn't pinpoint it on a genre, it sounds like a summer pop anthem that might lean slightly on the country trend. :jonny5:

Double post by accident but..

I wasn't expecting three versions. Haven't even listened to the other two yet. Going to do that. Still shook! :deadbanana2:

Who is she signed with in the US? I hope this gets a real US push, instead of them cheating out and making it a Europe only single.

the zayn teas are kinda strong. i know why they picked it first :thing:

Not feeling the "acoustic" first 60s. Like they just make it a straight up mindless bop :deadbanana2:

it sounds like they were trying to copy Taylor Swift style

The verses are a little clunky, like she's trying to fit in more words than the beat can handle.  It's cute, but tbh if the blonde blue eyed member is the only one who smashes... hmm.

love it

don't know why some here say that the verses are too wordy…

and i don't quite get what some say about the intro…what intro?

she starts singing before the instrumental even starts 😄

Mhh yeah not my type of song but it could do well on radio , depends how much they will push for it

We're not doing that here, the song is already better than what Leigh-Anne has released and she had insane radio support. Perrie's voice is another level, so if she does well it is because of that and the quality of her music.

I agree!

They mean the intro she uploaded to Spotify weeks ago!

I think it's ignorant to pretend that Leigh Anne being black hasn't played a part in her music not getting as much support as Perrie's has. Leigh Anne's first two songs were absolute bangers that deserved better.

Let's not do Perrie dirty by being derogatory and referring to her only as blonde and blue eyed when she is one of the most powerful vocalists we have of recent times. Thanks.

uuuhh I love this. the perfect Spring/Summer anthem. Miss Perrie delivered! :clap3:
