I don't think a lot of you know how cases like this work. Why would she publicly apologize on something she's being SUED on and is directly counteracting those accusations?  

This statement, belittling as it is, is necessary for her at this moment. I do believe pretty much everything the dancers are saying, though. That Lizzo is an insecure, contradicting, and violating tyrant of a boss.

She could've said something like "I'm sorry if others ever felt like there were in a hostile work environment, though that was never my intention" but she's literally just saying how wrong and untrue everything the people have said is...

She didn't say nothing at all, though. She said nothing of actual substance, but there are little tells in her statement that can and are being used against her. Saying nothing at all, which I agree would be the best strategy for her at this point, would be to literally say nothing at all, or have her lawyer release a completely neutral statement from their perspective saying that, while the allegations are shocking, the legal process will hopefully reveal the truth. What Lizzo did here is just stupid.
