The album is sitting at around 3million units worldwide, currently outsold by the likes of competitors and some other artists that the Hive deem to be flops (Rihannas Anti - 11m WW. Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour - 4.5m WW. Gagas Chromatica - 3.1m WW, to name a few) despite heavy promotion, a worldwide tour to promote it, and a rigorous push by radio stations.

 

The album failed to live up to her previous success, why is this? Is the GP over her? Is America still sleeping?

Beyonce's debut single came out 20 years ago and we're still comparing her to today's hottest acts, she's doing just fine.

Nothing went wrong it was an enormous step up from her "side projects" in literally every aspect and also had better singles performance and(is in the middle of) a much bigger tour than the 2 solo studio albums that came before it.

 

It's her biggest success in over a decade something went right.

It’s still charting and pulling 4-5 million streams per day, nothing went wrong whatsoever

Literally nothing. It's certified platinum, it has a tour thats likely gonna gross 500-600M worldwide, it has a No.1 single and another WW smash hit. ALL 25 YEARS INTO HER CAREER AND WITH NO PROMO WHATSOEVER.

 

You can't and never will spin this into it being a flop or an underperformance. Beyoncé won and she will continue to win.

It just takes one look at the charts to realise Renaissance is serving longevity and will end up being much bigger than Chromatica (though it doesn't have big mainstream collabs)
