I know her demo tends to skew young but this was kind of corny? like her running and cops with the lights behind her..  the song itself also is OK but I expected more tbh. This sounds like it could’ve been a fifth single or bonus track on Sour.

Love the song. The pre chorus vocal melody reminds me of Deja Vu. I just wish it went harder with guitars during the last chorus.

The song is fine but when I think about big hits I heard for the 1st time & how I reacted, Vampire didn’t elicit those feelings, sorry. It’s not unique, distinct or special. It’ll soar for a min bc she’s a huge act rn but I don’t see this having longevity or being remembered in years to come as a classic

Like her discography so far it's cute but nothing groundbreaking

i don't think this is safe at all. It's not very radio fiendly , has no hook , the chorus isn't very structured and it's a bit over the place sonically.

It's a great introduction though, just not very lead single sounding unlike for example Lorde's "Green light" was

Yea Olivia continues to put out music that’s sounds like nothing that is on Pop Radio.  If she was going for a “safe” play she would have just done a generic max Martin bop
