It's cute. I love a good build-up. I think I prefer several songs from SOUR for now but I can see it growing more on me. Already played it 5 times. 

 

"Bloodsucker, famefucker, bleeding my dry like a goddamn vampire" is horrid and almost ruins it for me though.

 

Also I'm not seeing the HTE comparison. This is more like DL/DV if anything.

Tbh loved it but hope the next single is more pop-rock!

The way she sings “bloodsucker, famefucker” is so satisfying 

I also like it much more than driver's license but agree its giving Sour bonus track 

Ahh she did it again. Good 4 U's sister. I'm really into the aesthetic she uses for her discography so far too with SOUR + this music video now.

 

Some great vocal moments in the song as well. I'll be listening on repeat for a while this summer.

Even if that was the case, that’s okay. Male artists repeat their sound constantly and get away with it. Female artists shouldn’t be expected to constantly reinvent themselves.

Did you miss when 30 got released and everyone and their mother was dragging her for doing the same sound? That was literally the main criticism of 30 

Anyways this song is cute but it sounds too safe, she's clearly trying to replicate drivers license. Not really a 'mature' evolution that people were hyping it up to be.
