Just came home from a long work trip and goddamn: what a performance, her best ever! I'm obsessed

And I love how belty she sounds during the WFT chorus. I mean, when I hear Hilary sing 80% of the time I feel like she sounds like she is holding back power, a little throaty, somewhat kinda like she wanted to sound extra soft. And sometimes she surprises and sing louder like in this one - It suits her so much and got me so fast on first listen that I think that this first impression made me like the album right away!

Hasn't she performed "Sparks" on several TV shows? I just don't know if there was any late night show on that rollout, but I do remember a ton of Sparks performances haha

Exactly LOL Also, she left BMG because she was clearly not happy with their work, and it was her best decision tbh! I think the only time she got dropped for real was after the self-titled album, probably even before the "Fly" release.

If she's going for full live vocals, I think we're getting a Roommates performance as it's quite easier to sing. And also, Roommates is closer to debuting on Hot 100 than WFT.

Mod Sun was not on DTA, he was actually on Big Noise, which is her label now (and he got dropped recently) She left DTA because Travis stepped back from the business man role for a while to focus on other projects. Big Noise is owned by John Feldmann and the girlfriends band vocalist, Nick Gross. It looks like she's an investor on the company to some extent (they held a lot of meetings the past year with her being present and last year she seemed to host a "company party" at her house with the Big Noise board members). She's basically owning her game right now. And it seems like it's a joint-contract with Virgin Records, so she's on UMG now as well

I'll believe when I see an announcement. She's been completely silent for months. Can any insider confirm that?

The album is amazing! The lyricism is impressive, and the production is on point! This is on par with Dignity as her best effort. So cohesive and deep. She touches some subjects in some ways I'd never imagine her doing. My favs are Holiday Party (paranoid anthem), Growing Up, Weather for Tennis, Tell Me That Won't Happen and Adult Size Medium. We Don't Talk spills some tea, but it's probably the one I like the least. A solid 8.5/10 for me.

She's everywhere on my YouTube feed today! So many interviews and internet promo haha It's gonna take some time for me to catch up. Can't wait to listen to the album tonight
