Disappointing.

Loved it from first listen. The instrumental is so good - definitely the right direction. Really pumped for the album 

Would this become a Halloween staple? Why didn't she release closer to the Fall 

This sounds like a Queen song. I guess her music is really not my type after all. Her music has this classic piano ballad vibes as you can hear in songs like in happier / All I Want / 1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back / vampire.

 

Personally I prefer more female singer songwriter vibe songs like drivers license / deja vu / favorite crime.

I don't love it but it's stuck in my head so it'll probably grow. I wish the upbeat part kicked in sooner.

Ye, the beginning was a bit  but mostly because of her enunciation, but then it exploded and whoa  

This is so beautiful and fresh. I just hope this isn’t one of those smash hits ALA Flowers that doesn’t get a performance or interesting promo for ages, but I have faith it’ll potentially be promo like SOUR era
