I loved and stanned Britney for years and years, went to every concert (except for Femme Fatale) and I know ATRL is perpetually stuck in 2010 but I just don't think in 2026 a new Britney Spears album is something outside a small minority of the girlzandthegayz are begging for. I feel like Britney had her moment where she ruled and was THAT GIRL and it was an iconic time in pop music and she's lucky because she got to shine longer than most pop stars, we know how short the shelf life is look at Lizzo but it's time to come into 2026 and move on and let Brit enjoy her life (and get help to live a happy and healthy life).

I remember one of her docs (was it the one on Netflix?) she talked about how she knows specifically as a woman as she gets older she's gonna have to fight to stay relevant because the industry at its core is not kind to women as they age, get married, have kids, etc. TS is super smart and imo the thought of not being relevant scares her, I feel like we'll be getting a ton of new music from her. It'll be interesting to watch if she can keep the massive audience she has.

I know everyone is nostalgic but we've evolved so far beyond foldable phones. It was cute and fun being a kid with a Razr flip phone or even the sidekick era but like... idk I just think we're beyond that, technology has evolved sm that carrying a phone that folds/flips, whatever... it's not cool or trendy, it's just dated. This is another example of tech being out of sync with what really want, I'm sure there's an audience, there's always an audience for anything nostalgic but how many people truly want a foldable phone? my guess not a ton.

Good for her for speaking out. Variety did a piece not too long ago about women representation and diversity is down across the board... Everyone in Hollywood is scared, the world is changing including people's viewing habits, social media/YouTube is making them have to work harder to get people's attention, they're not used to competition. IMO the whole industry as we've known it the last 20 years is done and a lot of the big wigs know it which is why everyone is in panic mode and "playing it safe" which of course means women and PoC get less roles/funding, etc.

lol str8 men can barely do it and the only thing that somewhat keeps them in check is women. now switch that same scenario over to gay men where both parties, partially due to how they are wired (and all men are wired that way), engaging in sexual intercourse have v high sex drives. do the math on that, it's p obvious.

we live in a completely diff world today, more and more people (esp men but women too) are having kids later... people don't feel pressure to live by the rules we were taught, go to college, get married, have kids all before the age of 25. it is what it is, people can do what they want.

I was on TikTok Live when it happened and it was truly insane. It's a sad situation all around. I think social media companies need to do a better job of regulating this stuff, u get banned on restricted on TikTok for the smallest things but that live went on and on and on and on...

I feel bad because a lot of women have no clue their men are out here not only f*cking other men but having full blown affairs....... allegedly.
