Taylor just announced that speak now tv will be released on July 7, predict the opening numbers for the album (for spotify, US BB200) and enchanted tv!!!!

 

I think she will do around 80 to 90M+ for spotify, pull around 800K to 900K+ for opening week (BB200) (1M+ is also possible) and enchanted tv will do at most 6 to 7M+ for opening day!!

I could see this obscure, indie record going over 1M tbh. I think it will get similar numbers SN did first week back in 2010, maybe even surpass it.

Y'all are over-estimating this so much  It'll do around 500k. It's a re-recording, not a brand new album. If Red TV debuted with around 600k, no way Speak Now (which is way less popular) is going to do better than that. Also only 22 songs vs 30 on Red TV. And only 2 months of pre-orders. Doesn't matter that she's the biggest star on the planet right now. Red TV will be the most popular re-recording when all is said & done.

very reasonable but her spotify power has grown so much, enchanted going viral on its own, i have learned to never underestimate miss americana

OTH/Swiftie haters will say over 1 mil so if/when it does less they can say oh wow much lower than I expected 

 

Swifties will be realistic/lowball so they can be like oh my wow for a re-recording my fav did that again THE music industry 

 

So the answer is probably somewhere in the middle of them.

I would love to be wrong but I just don't see it surpassing the 500-600k range at best. Red TV had more tracks, more time to gain pre-orders, technically two vinyl variants, the All Too Well short film and 10 minute hype, not to mention its legacy. 

 

Again, hope Speak Now can over-perform, it deserves to, but trying to be conservative 

I think 400-550k.  Opening streams will be about 80m.  This alone will make it the second-biggest debut for a re-recording ever.

I'm only a casual fan of Taylor's and I am more perched for Enchanted TV than any of her other re-recordings. I think both casuals and hardcore stans can agree Enchanted is one of the most exceptional songs of the last decade.

We're completely forgetting that a significant portion of her 2023 fanbase doesn't really care for her pre-RED discography. Anecdotally, a lot of my friends who are recent fans of her have folklore and evermore as their country/downtempo Taylor album, so this'll probably be a first day buy for most of them, me included!

It’s gonna be a middle ground between Fearless TV and Red TV.

I can respect a stance of being skeptical about it hitting a million, but some of y'all saying sub-500k... really? When it just did 40k in the US in an hour, and is probably already around 100k preorders based on what people are seeing with order numbers? I don't know how I feel about that.

 

I get that Speak Now is historically not as beloved as Red, but her popularity is at an all-time high, much higher than it was two years ago. There's no way this does less than 500k and if we're being realistic I don't think there's any way it does less than Red TV did.
