Definitely not my favorite song but I like it, bad choice for the lead single tho :gaycat5: People were used to something more dance-pop from Britney, I think that's why it flopped. And the G-Eazy feature probably didn't help cause I think collabs w/ artists that no one knows can hurt the song.

She looks AMAZING in the music video btw :msmarvel:

My least favourite Britney lead single. I thought it was lifeless.

It’s a huge shame because Glory is a fantastic album that had many songs that would have been huge if they were chosen instead.

A pretty bad song. Make Me is probably my least favorite lead single.

Im a huge britney stan but lbr she could have released any song from that Album and it would have performed similarly. Her commercial peak has been over. A cute top 20 lead single is perfectly fine.

And to answer the actual question: at first I didn't like it but I really enjoy it nowadays.

Acting like they didn’t have Britney lip Bebe’s part of that w/e song Bebe and G-Eazy did at the time that was everywhere at the time :deadbanana4:

It's a cute song but as a lead single? I'm not sure. It needed to be snappier. The music video shambles ruined the roll out as well.

it is a cute song but the video really tainted it . i remember at the time there was hype around the song , it could've taken off if handled properly

her worst lead single, it just doesn't go anywhere... i never liked it

On paper & by description alone, this is my favourite type of Britney track - soothing, sensual, dreamy. I really love her delivery on the song & particularly the verses. The chorus is kinda trash & makes me not ever really feel like revisiting it. G-Eazy adds nothing & I find his inclusion quite random & forced. I don’t understand why they chose this & the only bad track on Glory (Private Show) to lead/market the album.

It’s not worse than Work Robot.

Great song

sucks the whole MV fiasco happened and we didn't get the original, but it is what it is :frown:

I feel like that along with it being midtempo instead of the usual uptempo you would expect from a Britney lead, is ultimately what hurt its performance on the charts.

Better or Love Me Down would've been perfect lead singles since it was the summer :jonnycat:

I love it. :rip: I had my army time in 2016-2017, so this song was pretty popular on the radio.

Nostalgia vibes.

Never been a fan but I LOVE this song and still play it to this day. Same with Breathe On Me and Work *****.

Average at most. It didn’t help we got a shitty video for it. Slumber Party >>>>>>>

I like that it was different for Britney at the time and it’s an okay song. But it’s not an amazing song looking back

Good song with a terrible feature and one of the most insanely mismanaged rollouts for an MPG in a long time. But that’s all Team Con’s fault, I doubt she wanted to collaborate with that shitty rapper who tried to kiss her. I don’t listen to it though, I was shocked that the rest of Glory was so amazing.

It's kind of boring and very basic not gonna lie. She has much better midtempos. I hardly listen to it. :rip:

I didn't like it during release week since I thought it was quite generic and uninspired

However, years later I realized it actually sounds fresh still and aged better than I expected sound wise

Yeah, and after you listen to the rest of Glory. You can't help but think song pales in comparison with the better deeper cuts.

I was thinking how Love Me Down or Slumber or even Better would've had been better as a lead single
