Respectfully, we do NOT need another Britney biopic about her life, career & come-up - it needs to be a real, criminal investigation about the suffering & trafficking she endured at the hands of the state of California & all who benefited from it, especially Tristar Entertainment. No one wants to touch the topic in a meaningful way. If I recall correctly, Matt Gaetz was the only US rep that was quite vocal about the matter of Cship abuse & the media's reaction to that was to swiftly slap him with trafficking headlines & personal allegations. Obviously I can't prove that, but the timing felt super suspicious to me.

Her staying power & the way she's navigated her career has been really impressive. She'll never top her classics, but some of the recent stuff is cute.

My understanding is she initially pulled out of the event due to Sudanese peoples protests (prior to the events apparent cancellation?). If there was enough of a concerted pushback & protest against performing in the US, then the comparisons would be more appropriate. Yes, this does have the added effect of PR spin, but I don't think it necessarily erases the intent. Ultimately, she has a job to do and is still working within the confines of a capitalist system. The move also aligns with BDS values. Effective protest is not "boycott everything bad" - it's focused, targeted & realistically achievable. Mind you, UAE citizens are actively shielded & censored from their governments misdeeds.

I also believe this. Let's not forget her long time manager Larry Rudolph also said "without the Cship she'd be dead within a year" to TMZ during the height of the Cship protests. Not only is that foul, but it speaks to THEIR failures to improve her personal circumstances over the course of 13 years THEY were in control. Nothing to show for it. They were just all too happy for the money to keep pouring in at her expense.

Things I'd like to understand. Who is actually managing her page, as in, who's posting? Does she still have a social media manager? Is it someone affiliated with Cade? I would imagine so, because random images she posts are professionally credited & the nudity is very intricately censored with the timed emojis & I very much doubt she knows how to do that. If someone is managing the page & approving the posts - why approve the more concerning things, such as this? My take on the situation post cship - and this is just conjecture: Britney has experienced a never ending list of traumatic injury, on top of dangerous doses of forced lithium that has left her permanently impaired & in a state of frequent disassociation, high highs & low lows. She always needed help, even pre-cship, but not to the degree she does now. Had the cship not been such a horrific experience & had she had a system of genuine support & actual time to heal through her postpartum & not been trafficked like a work horse & denied basic human dignity & rights, had she been empowered to make decisions, she may have aged to be more equipped & self reliant. Had the medical & legal systems & her own family not repeatedly failed her, she may have been more inclined so seek out the help she needs. But she is now unable and unwilling to trust any systems, understandably so. At several instances in her life she was so terrified and anxious of "consequences", that I think reverting to this free spirited persona is a coping mechanism that just shuts the idea of "consequence" off. She's been raised for years in an industry that rewards & validates sexual/seductive behaviour. For 13 years of her adult life, her womanhood was essentially stripped away behind the scenes, but she had to continue to play this role on stage. If we're being all the way real, in a way, her womanhood never actually belonged to her. It was the public's. It was the exec's. It was her choreographer's. It was even her father's, in a twisted manner. She is particularly suggestive as a way of reclaiming that sexuality & because it (falsely) feeds her self worth. The issue is, the public is unable to reconcile that even a person who is struggling mentally can express sexuality & it comes off as jarring, particularly when it's being presented alongside an evident fragility or through a chaotic episode. I could literally be overthinking this entire thing & it may just be a silly video she filmed in the presence of someone she trusts, but that still remains my internal reasoning of Britney today. In saying that, none of this is to pass judgement or to suggest what she "must" do. Ultimately, I wish her only the best & I'm still immensely thankful that her father & the ghouls that empowered him are no longer in the picture & remain furious at the lack of justice for what they've done to her.
