Britney: "My mom tried to kill me"
She can have personal aides that help her with daily tasks without being in a conservatorship. For some reason, people that visibly struggle with mental illness make a lot of you uncomfortable. As unnecessary as it is to know this, it has been disclosed that she's in fact not unmediated, and has been taking what she's required to. Still, things like alcohol on medication can affect how well the medication works. I won't argue that drinking on pills is never smart. At the end of the day, however, there's always going to be good days and bad days with mental illness, even with medication. She still has a right to exist normally with everyone else. That includes dealing with the law when she messes up.

Worst pop star to stan in 2026?
Not surprised that many people in here jumped to say Britney Spears who is basically retired and is currently attempting to better herself over people like Chris Brown who is somehow still selling out stadiums. Anyway, Chris Brown, because unlike Diddy, he still hasn't been held accountable for his atrocities against women.

Is Britney the most iconic pop star of all time?(female)
She's undeniably one of them. Almost every current rising pop star today has mentioned how huge of an influence she is, and has given homage to her. Be it music video looks, carpet outfits, or performances on stage that take inspiration from things she's done. It's so fun to see all of these artists that grew up watching her, and wishing they could be like her, now have their own turn on the stage.

Usher says Diddy has been "misrepresented"
Disgusting. This sucks because I really did like some of his music, and thought he was a pretty talented singer and dancer on stage. The industry is just filled with horrid people that don't care about anything unless it personally affects them. Not everyone of course, but way too many.

JoJo Siwa goes back to her pre ex-homosexual style at the Hannah Montana special
She's still queer. It's fascinating that every time she wears a different outfit or costume that is considered a "rebrand" when her average outfits have always been fairly consistent. I'm glad she went, and spoke highly of how Miley / Hannah Montana inspired her entire reason to be in the spotlight. She has always credited her entirely and spoke kindly even after the back in the closet joke. Nickelodeon had their own empire with her brand to a smaller scale than Disney of course, but still.

Addison Rae compared to Britney after Lollapalooza Brasil debut
Vocals will never be her strength. In my personal opinion, she has good theatrics, and stage presence to go with it. Those skill sets make a good performer to me. I wouldn't even say she's a great dancer per se because her choreography is more about fluidity of movement if anything. It works for songs like for example Aquamarine where the sound kind of calls for that. It's really just a matter of if this branding can carry on and evolve the more music she releases. And no, she is not above Britney in any category. I do love that she's inspired by Britney, but at times the stage antics she pulls are too on the nose to old Britney performances. At some point she needs to branch out of the box and try something a bit more originally innovative.

People underestimate how huge Chris Brown was
It's more that we don't care, to be honest. His actions are awful and outweigh any talent or success he might have.

1 year later: who should've won AOTY at the 2025 Grammys?
Still Cowboy Carter. I understand people argued hard for Billie's album, I listened fully through and it's a beautiful piece of work. However, because of the cultural and racial impact Cowboy Carter had (it boosted multiple black country artists and gave them visibility), I give it to Beyonce. Intentional collaborations and story-telling, giving the audience a historical look into America's roots where black folk were forgotten or overlooked. Personally I'll never understand people swearing it was just "boring country music".
