I think we can all agree that Adore You killed Bangerz era

What should have been the 3rd single instead?

Discuss!

Ugh this could have been a flawless era like 1989

We Can't Stop

Wrecking Ball

#GETITRIGHT

Someone Else

Rooting for My Baby

wow that album is forgettable   let me listen it again.

oh, Miss F.U.

FU, obviously.

We Can’t Stop

Wrecking Ball

Drive

#GETITRIGHT (Nowhere near my fave, but it would’ve done well)

Somebody Else

Other than Wrecking Ball, nothing from this era should’ve ever happened.

Someone Else

FU for a cute little gift for the fans

Get It Right is the textbook definition of pop perfection and would’ve smashed SO hard in early 2014

love Adore You, but it was a single way too early, especially from an album entitled Bangerz lol

Get it Right

i also remember being a little 16 year old Joe reading an article in the magazine which described the sound of the album and Get It Right, 4x4, and SMS (Bangerz) all being praised super hard lol… wow what a damn era 2013-2014 was

drive and getitright was the hit that got away

also f.u. could finish the era. love do my thang, rooting for my baby, someone else and 4x4 but I don't see them doing well as singles. someone else might.

Drive was literally RIGHT THERE and she said no....

Also

#GETITRIGHT

Drive was the instant smash waiting to happen. Adore You was too slow after Wrecking Ball. Perfect era prob would've been

Drive was robbed! I love Adore You, but I kinda agree it might have been odd after Wrecking Ball. And her awful video did not help.

I never ever understood the love for Drive. It was corny then, corny now.

Getitright and FU and 4x4 were the hits that got away!

though I love adore you so much

PERIOD. If this was in Tik Tok era, it would have been an I'm Blue situation on steroids where she would have been bullied into releasing it. One of the only mainstream covered leaks I can remember.

Surprised that y’all love getitright so much I literally skip it bc it sounds so basic and like filler to me

Someone Else charting as an album track in 2013 was very iconic, idk. Drive is my personal pick though.

SMS (Bangerz)

This truly is one of the best songs ever recorded in music history

How did this not end up on the album? How was this not a global smash hit? Mind boggling

4x4 with a fun camp video with cowboy choreo would have been a secured hit tbh and then finish the era with Drive serving a Wrecking Ball part 2 with her destroying Liam's car, house and pictures and her using a voodoo of him to end his life and her suffering without looking desperate or delusional ala Shakira's Don’t Bother
