I am heartbroken. Buddy was one of the only people who came to my defense and consistently spoke to me when I was getting a hate train when I first joined this forum back in like 2014-2015. I got to know him rather well because we also shared similar political views and we would discuss politics regularly. He was also someone who would check up on me in regards to my ongoing health issues....I'm literally devastated at the moment and I can only imagine how his personal IRL friends and family must feel.

May he rest in peace ameen, he had such a beautiful soul and was such a unique and interesting member on this forum. I love you Buddy....

Wow. I wouldn't say we were friends but back in 2020 I remember us talking about our living situations since we both were from California and our stories about the valley where we both were living at the time. It brought a lot of comfort to me because at the time I felt so completely alone and felt like nobody in my real life understood what I was struggling with. Then recently just a month or two ago we had been talking about school and our goals for the future on discord. Funny enough he also lived right by where I go to school. Small world. He was a couple years older than me so it felt nice to chat about things like that with him because I'm always stressing out about finishing school in time and having my life in order and those conversation really put into perspective that I shouldn't put a time limit on myself and to just trust the process. Had no idea what he was going through sadly.

RIP Buddy. Really nice guy.ย

I canโ€™t find the right words to say. This is so devastating ย :cries:ย Buddy was such an icon in our community. I never got to interact with him personally but occasionally seeing his posts and avi changes always brought a smile to my face. Itโ€™s so sad and shocking to me that one of our members is gone at such a young age. I canโ€™t even imagine what his family and friends irl must feel right now :(ย

Rest in peace Buddy. You will be missed and weโ€™ll cherish you in our hearts foreverย :heart2:

NO

WHATย :cries:ย how horrible omfg. i absolutely loved interacting with him on here and on discord, he always had something interesting/sassy/clever/thought-provoking to say

RIP king, you will be sorely missedย :heart2:

Oh my goodness, no. I donโ€™t believe we ever talked, but you stay on ATRL long enough and thereโ€™s a handful of members you just โ€˜knowโ€™ because of their presence in the community. This is beyond tragic. My thoughts are with his friends and family, may he RIP.ย

Returning to this at the end of the day after getting word of it this morning, Iโ€™m still floored. Buddy was such a kind guy. We talked a lot off of ATRL: both on Discord and on ATRL. He joined ATRL around the same time as me so he almost feels synomous with ATRL for me because heโ€™s basically always been here since I joined. Iโ€™m going to miss his humor. His avatars. His engagement in the political threads. And his interest in gossiping about ATRL drama. Being the same age as him, it is unspeakably unfair that his time ended this soon. His death is beyond tragic. That said, I want to try to hold onto his memory and those countless positive memories I have of him.

ย

Rest in peace, Buddy.ย
