My guess is this has more to do with Renaissance being the priority than the label not willing to support her.

She had a year window from last summer to now. Now with Beyoncé coming, that’ll probably be Columbia’s priority through the summer. 

Chlöe needs a single that’ll STICK unlike “Have Mercy,” or “Treat Me.”

”Surprise” is cute, but, it’s not going to sell albums or concert tickets 

She should’ve dropped the album last year when No Mercy was doing okay. She had hype and it was a good moment.

 

I hope the label doesn’t make her one of those artists that is going to release 1000 singles until something sticks. It’s tiring.

 

And sadly most of them are going on that route now.

That means she has time to record better music.

Good, she can get rid of Treat Me from the tracklist.

How is she as bad as Normani? She drops the singles and the last two haven’t done well. And that’s with her promoting them which the former does not do.

She’s done what she can and her label is not going to set her up if the time isn’t right for her.
