Solange's 'A Seat at the Table' turns 10
This album means so much to me. Cranes is still my favorite song of all time. ASATT got me through one of the roughest times of my life. I'll never forget hearing this for the first time. This will always be on my music Mount Rushmore. Wish we'd gotten more visuals, but Solange is a GOAT. A certified classic!

Beyoncé
By the time they buy the other 50 versions available tho... I won't simp for a billionaire, but this being Bey's first re-issue, it was always gonna come with a price tag. I'd rather two standard options at these price points than creating a culture around buying every variant available. Just imagine when IASF, DIL, 4 and ST get proper pressings though lol. Revisiting her loudest album before her presumed loudest album (ACT III) doesn't feel random at all

Steve Lacy - 'Oh yeah?'
I love this album for what it is. I've played it so much over the past week - perfect for the back half of summer. So many ear worms, his voice is stunning. I will say… It took me a minute to understand Pure Colour, but wow! It's a solid album

Which do you consider Beyoncé's debut year? 1997 or 2003?
97 for sure! She's as much of a 90's girl as the '08- '09 girls are 2000's MPGS imo

Album of the Year nominees. Who should win?
Honestly, seeing 3 Rap albums nominated makes me lean towards Kendrick taking it. Kendrick makes classics. Rap hasn't won the category in ages - and they can still award the Clipse in Best Rap Album.

JT - "Girls Gone Wild"
I don't know why I get Uzi vibes from the production/instrumental - been waiting for this one though! Feels like it's got potential
