I'm not sure I found any actual worthy remixes for the first 2 albums, so I suppose they begin later?

Maybe I am too harsh on Einstein. It's just kind of mid, but it does have bops. It's just that a few of the ballads drag it down so much

Is Memoirs her album with the least creative involvement? She obviously still collaborated heavily on each track, but seems like she let Dream and Tricky have more control than she typically would. I think she spoke quite a bit about enjoying being more collaborative on that record.

Top five Mariah for me. I think it's clear she was given more freedom to explore because it is closest to the 70s Motown and soul she grew up with. Favorites are title track, If It's Over, The Wind, Can't Let Go, Til the End of Time, And You Don't Remember

Yeah the real remixes start from Music Box cuz she knew it needed them through to Emancipation mostly, she probably slowed down when she felt like she was making more of the music she wanted to

There's also an entire unreleased Memoirs remix album that still has some tracks remaining on Youtube....and then she teased a #Beautiful House remix that never got released when she had a really bad fall and was traumatized </3

Suburban covered most of the best remixes I think, the only ones missing for me:

Lol, there's no way I'm giving up on anything as long the club remixes are good and elevate a mediocre (as per her own fans' words) album, so don't worry 😇

And @conatus knows I did a proper deep dive in Tori's discography last winter and I got through the thickest unscathed

Oh I still haven't found the strength for that, and these days I'm too lazy for rates until last minute so there's really no way of forcing myself into it. She's on the list though.

Mariah's 90s decade was so prolific and diverse, even though Music Box is my least fave I can still mentally delete half the album and replace it with the remixes and unreleased and then as a project/era overall it's not bad at all. Do You Think of Me is gorgiana

I had never given that It's Like That remix a fair shot and omg? It's so good

I love the Don't Forget About Us Ralphi Rosario and Craig J Martini at XO Vocal Edit as well. It doesn't have many new vocals, but it's a bop.

Litter Box has some of the best b-sides and remixes despite the album being…vanilla. There was a lot of potential for that to be a top tier album, but Motorola wanted the most Caucasian affair possible.

I've been listening to it a lot more recently, it doesn't get enough love as the only(?) fully realized ~10 minute House Remix we got from her this century until Portrait

It's crazy that I'm still discovering noteworthy remixes from her I enjoy in 2026...I kinda wish she just redid the remix album into a fully complete 50 track long compilation. With the Portrait one as the worthy capstone. Like how could she leave off ABMB and CTTA House remixes

I think if Mariah ever drops a full album I want her to go full pop again like Touch My Body and Obsessed. I kinda wish between MIAM and Caution she gave us a 2016 tropical album.

Music Box isn't even that bad. I'm not a huge fan of Hero and Without You but they are undoubtedly iconic. The only ballad I find truly egregious is Never Forget You, so plodding. But the b-sides and unreleased truly redeem it. It's no Daydream but it's almost there.
