They wanted a Gaga renaissance with her being everywhere with Joker combined with DWAS to fuel hype for a comeback. Now Joker flopping and the lukewarm reception to Harlequin make it seem like she is in a flop era, despite DWAS being massive. That does not really matter but once that narrative starts, the dog piling online could make it hard for her to gain enough traction to reach the potential success of the era. Unless the music is just undeniably quality - in which case I think it'll be fine.
