When telephone becomes Beyoncé's highest charting single again, who is making the thread?

 

 

 

The fact that there are hundreds of variations of Bloody Mary up on youtube with 10s of millions of views. Bloody Mary probably adds up to at least 2B streams on youtube alone, let alone on tiktok. It's at 700M on spotify which is still incredible for a 2011 deepcut but honestly I don't think it reflects how huge it actually is in the online world. 

It has always been one of my favourite Gaga songs, easily top 10, and I don't think it's given enough credit within the fanbase. It not only became a hit fully on it's own, leading to a humongous surge in Gaga's streaming power, it also very likely was the metaphorical "butterfly wing" moment that set in motion the process leading us into Abracadabra, Mayhem and Mayhem Ball, three undebatable highlights of Legend Gaga's career. Oh and it's also shaping up to become one of the biggest halloween classics since Michael Jackson's Thriller, if we're really going there.

Truly is fitting to have this MASTERPIECE as the Mayhem Ball opener.

If frustrates me so much that our last real WW certification update for Gaga was pre-Bloody Mary going viral, pre-Gaga's TFM/BTW becoming a tik-tok staple, pre-DWAS + Mayhem era dominance. I really hope they do some major certification blitz for this Grammy campaign because she has completely surged in every sense since the last real mass-certification update (which I believe was around Chromatica's release).

You guys know about stats and charts better than me because all that too me is physics and advance mathematics. But is abracadabra still the biggest female solo hit of the year? 

Wild how the "solo" argument became a thing because of Shallow. And it's really pathetic how even a couple "serious" publications use it against her, just to draw attention. 

 

Hope she eventually smashes with a solo song to shut all of them up.
