From my observations, SL, FW, SFA, FT, & PD (to an extent) are the most panned songs on Chrome by the base. 

Stupid love is just bad….. the others aren't bad as much as they sound a bit uninspired compared to the rest of the album  the bridge and piano version are cute though so let me lay off the lashings for a sec

Bloodclot prob had to remove any resemblance of the bowie song, even any trace in singing melody.

 

i'm guessing that's why the background chorus vocals were removed too.

 

 

Finding DWAS fashion on an archived episode of Joy Junction gives me several spinal chills

Chromatica really is an incredible album. It's such a shame the state of the world and her team's difficulty pivoting properly prevented it from shining its brightest.

 

Alice was overlooked as the perfect lead single in favor of a leaked song the fanbase clearly wasn't fully vibing with, Rain On Me didn't live up to its full potential, Sour Candy was added to a long list of easy hits Gaga left on the table, and a few fan favorites (Replay, Babylon) didn't get the music video experience they deserved to get. (That last one may not have happened anyways under normal circumstances but still should have.)

 

It remains the best album of the decade for me so far.

I think Bowie came around at the end tho they never did meet. Iirc Gar has a framed letter from him hanging on her wall. Such a shame he never embraced her, as they're 2 of my favorite music artists ever. The truly pressed one was Prince, but it seems that when Gar was summoning Joanne's spirit in 2016, she took his ass to the gr4ve back with her chi

To be honest, Disease felt more like a leak than the beginning of an era

 which is a shame because it's an incredible song.

 

We didn't even get a single candid look, a photoshoot, a promo image with the album's aesthetic, or an interview that dives deep into the music of the album... nada.

 

The more in depth interview was about... DWAS being the missing piece from LG7 and becoming a HUGE part of it, whatever that means

While I'm glad they decided to include Die With a Smile on LG7, I really hope that doesn't make them complacent. As in, I worry they're going into this release with an "okay great we have our hit now, we can all relax and do the bare minimum" mindset, as seems to be the case with each previous era since Joanne once she gets the big hit of the era.

 

Die With a Smile will do wonders for the album statistically, but I unfortunately don't believe it's currently driving any excitement or hype for the album with either the GP or the fanbase like Millions Reasons (GP), Shallow (GP), and Rain On Me (fanbase) did.

 

But perhaps me saying this is all moot and we're right on the cusp of the era really starting. We shall see I guess.

the album could be at 3.5B or close to 4B streams on spotify by now

911 is a great video but there's 2 things that hinder it from being excellent like her tfm era videos: 

- for some reason the video starts to decline in quality in terms of cinematography towards the end of the song. the first scene (when chromatica ii is playing) is so beautiful and looks straight out of a movie but the end of 911 and when chromatica iii is playing feels so cheap, almost like a parody and idk what it is (some scenes didn't require the green wig imo) 

- the fact that she had to explain all the symbolism and analogies by the end of the video going through every character involved in the accident  i just don't like when the artist treats the public like they're stupid and who cares if they didn't get it, the mystery is what made bad romance so great in the first place

Back in 2003, he was diagnosed with liver cancer, spent years disappearing from the public view to cure it but of course, he still managed to put out his last 2 studio albums, The Next Day (2013) and blackstar (2016). The concept of these albums are all about death. He knew he couldn't survive it.

 

He was nice, kind, very knowledgeable, humble, and funny. Thank you Gaga for introducing your fav to me.

I remember Gaga writing an invitation to ask if he would like to sing a song with her and gave him a cake. Unfortunately, he turned down but took the cake (oh you old man 🤣) and wrote a feedback saying something like thank you for your cake but I was busy .... blah blah blah something something.

 

About Prince, please, he hated everyone 🤣
