I have no desire to listen to the leak and I can wait. The mess is that I have no desire to do anything else either because this woman has me in a chokehold and I'm distracted by my excitement. God help me.

and I'm very sure Beyonce herself/her team leaked this on purpose. Just like good ol times where albums would leak a few days earlier. That's great to get people hype and talking about the album. I haven't listened to it besides I'm That Girl. I'm waiting to have a listening party with my boyfriend later tonight

Is there any more 90s house on the album? Also 80s synthpop?

Can't deny, im disappointed so far with what I have heard. It is much more urban than what I expected, cant say anything blew me away yet....

The way Forbes, TMZ, Variety, USA Today, etc etc is making this leak a whole news story is actually creating a lot of hype in itself Ima wait it out. It’s a shame that this may effect first 24hr streams tho, if you’re chart hive that is. I know Bey is only concerned about sales tho. She couldn’t give two shits about streaming from what I can tell.

How are the samples used throughout the album? Is there any song that is heavily based off its sample? This is especially for Donna Summer "I Feel Love" b/c thats one of her most well known songs

This is by far her most experimental album to date and possibly her magnum opus. You girls aren't ready. 

 

Imagine the strengths of every single one of her albums combined in to one. Superior vocals to 4, better production than BEYONCÉ, lyrical and album concept eclipsing Lemonade.  How does she do it.

It's like impossible to miss the sample of I Feel Love, it's quite evident and the song is too iconic not to catch it.

 

However the song is straight up excellence,  start to finish so it's hella worth it.

Listened to a few snippets and it’s actually not as dancy/house as I expected!

Why would they even publish this?  Whoever did this write-up deserves to have their ‘journalism’ career ruined.

I must say....this is Bey's MOST experimental album. The way some songs transform into completely different songs and doesn't sound jarring at all. I was caught off guard multitple times and in a good way. I'm glad that that album isn't the typical house/disco album..it seems like Bey wanted to evolve the genre in a different way and I can see that she accomplished that. The most typical sounding house song is BMS and every other song made it sound basic in comparison and I LOVE Break My Soul.
