Are a mixture of B'Day and 4 IMO.  Not as brash as 4 though

The end of energy took me out. Thique is so good. Only half way through but the opening track and BMS are definitely the weakest so far. Everything is so surprising. Sends you in one direction and then BAM a seamless switch up.

I have just given my two cents about this gem 

 

It's reminiscing of DIL's R&B touch plus a bit of Sade's influence. The vocals are soft and ethereal, I felt daydreaming (no pun intended) while listening to it.

Beyonce is in a league of her own and why even compare this to COADF when it transcends that. I can't help but think where Bey is at this point in her career compared to Madonna/Janet/Mariah. She's just unrivaled and it's no disrespect to them.

I’ve only listened to the album once and it was a few hours ago but from what I remember it was one of my favorites, if not my favorite on the album!

 

Just wanted to say that although I originally called this album horrendous, that opinion was informed based on only hearing a few songs which I still don’t enjoy. However, the album as a whole is very enjoyable, I definitely appreciate it more now that I’ve heard it in full.

Alien Superstar and Summer Renaissance

 

In my opinion, if you don’t like this album, you simply don’t like Beyoncé. It’s literally everything a Beyoncé album should be. Like I said, the quintessential Bey album! Sounds like an album that sums her up as an artist and one that she’s been working towards her entire career!

i love that shes spotlighting Black queer culture after her Black woman showcase that is Lemonade. it truly is phemonemal. i cant wait to see the visuals. there's so many ballroom references. she even references her Uncle Johnny!!

This album gave me a lot of surprises to be honest. The second half of the album gave me a lot of whip lash in a good way.  I didn't even expect America Has A Problem to be contender for one of her best tracks in her career. Like...its pop perfection ( if we can call it pop)

I prefer Renaissance over COADF, but then again I have never been a huge fan of that Madonna’s album.
