She sent a cease and desist to this a kid selling merch with her on it but never sued him.. Hive is willing to make her look bad in the long run just to futilely try to scare people into not listening to the leak 35 hours before the album

You've already spent HUNDREDS of dollars, I promise Billionaire Beyonce is not crying over her music reaching a SMALL, LIMITED AMOUNT of fans ears 2 days early in a SMALL corner of the internet. This is basically what record labels do anyway to get people talking, enjoy yourself.

What's the logic behind that? The only reason to be upset about millions of streams (and that number is far, far lower) is because it would affect first week sales... releasing on a wednesday would be even worse for those

The 2.8 Million Twitter users who follow Variety ALONE have been reached. It's not even a charts thing. 

 

So you spent money blindly (like I did), but couldn't wait two more days? It can't be the ability to cancel if the music isn't good (because let's be serious... you weren't doing that), it can't be that the version you're hearing early will be different (because the leaks are coming from early cd purchases)... and miss me with that "I might not make it to the album".

 

It boils down to discipline and the allure of hearing it first and SHARING that you heard it first. That's not enough for me, but to each his own.

i knew all that stuff about "leaks don't matter' that was being pushed in here was a joke. this is BEYONCE....we're not talking about some random artist. this was going to be a viral event. there was no chance that a leak was going to be quiet & stay under the radar. now people are digging in just like it's a surprise release....but except nothing will be accounted for but lost revenue.

 

next time...stop trying to tell Beyonce & Parkwood what to do...ya'll don't have the answers either

I’m sure she knew this was going to happen? If she didn’t want a leak then she should’ve held back the physical for a week.
