So you're unsure of the release date and release time of the album you pre-ordered with the schedule released to the public?  That's a you problem, and the only way these two scenarios would be equivalent.

I don't know what y'all were expecting.  The CDs arrived in stores before the release date. Like... it was bound to leak. Everyone, including the Hive, has the choice to listen or not listen to the music. If it's worth something, I'm happy the album didn't leak a month before. The effect of 2 days is negligible.

Listening to that project on Thursday night with all of the attached surprise and no guilt will be great. Call me elite then.

I don't even think that's a big concern. Like... how many ppl are gonna listen to the leak? Aside from some a small group of avid pop culture / Twitter users.

 we know who the real chart hive are now. We should be happy it leaked only a day and half before, because it could be another tidal exclusive, which is worse.

The average person isn't going to see her album leaked and run to find it, especially in the middle of their work day.

Yeah, that’s my point. Though, it’s generally those same pop culture followers that largely make up Spotify’s core demo, anyway.

Yeah, I'm waiting until Friday, but we all knew it was going to leak. It happens to pretty much all artists nowadays unless it's a surprise release, happened to Taylor, Adele, Harry... And I mean, she's BEYONCÉ. We're in 2022, a leak less than 48 hours before the release isn't going to affect her
