I thought a second single would be out by then to however considering we haven’t got the BMS video yet and it will most likely drop on the 29th, the song will get a second wind a little I hope.

idk why that user brought this up bc  hitboy was on donda and that the game single, 070 Shake was on the gift and renaissance and mike dean is ALL OVER the album so it’s not like Kanye affiliated ppl can’t work with bey 

what hit boy said probably has to do with the fact that he worked on self titled and didn’t have time to work on Kanye’s projects but then idk but they all end up working with each other anyway

I'm still 100% optimistic and don't buy that nothing is coming, but this is all soo....confusing. 

 

One scenario I'm mulling is that maybe the (assumed) visual album or series  really lives as one full piece on Netflix. Meaning it can't run in pieces on YouTube (possibly even contractually). So maybe just maybe Bey will have both the Netflix film AND separate visuals for separate songs? Think of how Formation actually isn't part of Lemonade.

 

Or maybe we're getting some kind of pre-recorded live activation and that's what it's for?

 

I just refuse to buy the idea that absolutely nothing is ready to roll in time for Friday. Neither Bey or her team are incompetent and I don't see that RANDOMLY starting with her most important album drop in years.

To be fair, only the writing credits have been released. Productions credits aren't out yet.

Really? A lot of producers were listed. And while some definitely pull double duty, some definitely don't write. I think those are the complete credits for both that we already have.

Max Martin demands both writer and production credit for whatever he’s on per Taylor Swift.

I'm not a huge fan of Max Martin, he's big reason mainstream pop music sounded so homogeneous and lifeless in the early 2010's. He and Dr. Luke.

I need more context before I can agree or disagree

Bey has done so well by avoiding Max Martin and Luke types. Their sound is just is just so genric yet made for mainstream. I'm hoping with Beyonce's career being so mature that she can elevate whatever sound he's giving. If BMS by Dream is any indication, I'm a beleiver. 

I bet she’s going for the #1 for BMS on album release week. Lead singles always get huge bumps, and if she were to drop the music video that day, she just might snag the top of the Hot 100.
