Some cases, I think people were tryna say they wanna see Bey return more fun music vs the seriousness 2016-2020. But def the way a lot of people word it comes off like they don’t want this Black woman to speak on Black Culture/serious subjects + use her platform to spread the word. 

 

Even now with BMS … its a fun track but she still incorprates the seriousness in the old school house beat.
