31 dates are "sold out" but all of them have thousands of tickets on official resale thanks to Ticketmaster... rot in hell.

I'm waiting to see if any of my friends get the "verified fan" code for San Francisco. that's my last hope, I made several of them sign up.

Resale tickets in US is worse. Europe isn’t too bad.

The visuals are coming on the one year anniversary obviously

The way the tour is spreading out into 2024 basically confirms it. It's the Renaissance tour and will be themed on that 100% She ain't gonna drop a whole new album with an entirely different concept and sound mid tour and adjust the Renaissance show for it. This is not a 'Mrs Carter - BEYONCÉ' type of situation where it was basically the same thing.

And by the time she's done with the tour she most definitely won't be releasing an album that she had finished 4-5 years ago lbr :rip: She'd have changed her mind about it 10 times over in that timeframe and would probably be out of touch with the musical landscape in a few years' time

literally why couldn't it be a mrs carter -> beyoncé type situation? that's a perfect example of her releasing an album during the tour and changing the tour to suit it.

thats probably exactly what she will do. each act will get its own leg.

Didn’t we get tea months ago that the visuals would be released on HBO Max in the summer? We laughed at it back then, but it seems like that’s the case.

I can see it either being right before tour starts, or at the end of the Europe leg and before North America.

yes. and no one wanted to listen. everyone is like THEYRE CANCELED every 3 days but literally insiders told us WHEN we would get the film. so idk why ppl cant just be patient.

Had this set firmly in my mind since at least December.

That's never happening :ahh:  You'll be lucky if it even makes it as an interlude while she's backstage changing outfits to perform the worthy songs

Meanwhile she displayed immaculate taste last week by calling the 'DIL reject' her favorite off the album, basically confirming its spot on the show

:thing:

Fave has always had questionable taste (see collabs with Nicki, letting her cousins style her, the ratty tour wigs) of course she would chose Piss off the Sofa as her favorite, anything related to Jays coke can and she goes crazy.

It will slow down the energy of the tour, it will be her caterwauling like a cat in heat. I guess a good piss and bathroom break if she includes it.

ALL UP IN YOUR MIND is amazing... what are you all talking about? The vocals ALONE! When have we ever heard her use her voice like that? It's brilliant and an excellent example of the ways she's still pushing her vocal boundaries and able to execute really weird, grovely vocals and then flip back to soft, subdued, sensuous ones like nobody's business.

Someone who gets it :clap3:

So something funny happened over the weekend.

I was at a galentines at my friend's place, and one of my friends arrives and I ask her if she got tix to the tour. She's like "No, I didn't really look. I'm actually not really that big of a Beyonce fan."

I'm pretty confused cause her and I went to this event over back in August called the Renaissance ball, which was a DJ set. Super fun, and she jumped to buy tix there lol. She says "Well I loved Renaissance, but other than that not really. I like Beyonce but I prefer Solange. I don't wanna spend a grand to her concert"

I mention I have access to the Ticketmaster presale if she wants to take a look. She JUMPS to sit next to me and see what ticket options there are. She finds tix at section 100 for $400, and buys them. She thanks me and says she was capping. She's like "I AM in the Beyhive, I was just sad I couldn't get tickets"

First they love you then they switch like :cm:

People are so unserious :rip:

Serious question, what insider revealed anything about HBO Max and next summer for visual release? IIRC it was a bunch of members on here trolling. Plans wouldn't even be confirmed that far in advance.

I don't think they're scrapped. The whole thing is weird though.

The only director we know of working on it is Jonas just by virtue of his wife B pulling pieces for shoots.

Dikayl R worked on the visuals, he posted about being the director when the teaser dropped

Yeah the people who said it would come in summer on hbo max said that and then just dipped and just never said anything again in the base:gaycat6: I don’t even remember who their name was. Mercurio is the only king we can trust:giraffe:

I sincerely hope the visuals are on Netflix or Amazon. The HBO Max interface is so inconsistent and annoying.

Add to that the fact that HBO Max is not even available like that internationally!

Y'all do a lot with Lemonade (which IMO was more of an iconic "era" than an iconic "album)", but the mess didn't stop at it not being on Spotify / Apple Music. The visual dropping on HBO meant she immediately lost the "all-at-once-worldwide" impact she had with the ST drop. HBO isn't available everywhere, meaning the rollout of the Lemonade visual was staggered across different days and networks worldwide. Mostly niche networks too. Meaning a lot of people still haven't actually even seen it. She got her huge check, but at the expense of limiting the reach of work she so obviously poured so much into.

It'll be so irritating if she were to repeat that mistake again. She's already seen a lil of that with BIK. Which, despite being her best visual yet, is sitting on a platform not best aligned with her audience (Disney+). it also arrived on said platform when it had very limited subscribers.

So, it really has to be Netflix. For reach, resonance, and cultural impact worldwide.

I'd settle for Amazon because at the very least it's widely available (even if not widely watched). Anything else and sis will be playing herself.

I will say, though, if it's true that she's shopping the finished visual to different streamers, the frenzy over the tour definitely helps her bargaining position. That level of hype is definitely culturally currency that works to her benefit.

Ehhh it’s probably for the best. Trying to do 3 albums and tie them together that far spread out really doesn’t work. The album should capture the feelings at the time and will change over those years.

As for the visuals, just give us individual stories for each one like ST, we don’t NEED it all tied. BIK and Lemonade had a clear story, Rennie is just an upbeat celebratory album. There’s no conflict.

Gives me chills everytime

The transition from ITH is bomb as well, 'THIS A REMINDER' and then it goes OFF :jonny5:

You get it :clap3:

LOL... I posted a few pages back that "Cozy" got 1 add two weeks ago on Urban.... and this week it's the track y'all love to hate: "Church Girl".

I'm with you on this one!

Though I do think the transitions are too good and should not be wasted. I think she can find a way to make them flow into eachother even though each video has its own story. So it would be something between ST and Lem, which could turn out to be quite interesting.

I'm ofc just being dramatic but I tell myself (& lowkey believe it) that the visuals are scrapped and so is the original plan for three acts.

I'm sorry but spacing out what is supposed to be one larger project (it's three acts) over many many years just doesn't make sense. It's not cohesive it's not sensible and its not practical for Beyoncé herself - because she will change and so will her mind and her ideas.

She said she recorded these during the pandemic and we realistically know one is an album and one is a documentary. The tour being called Renaissance (she's lowkey lazy af with tour names nowadays) really throws me off because what about act ii?

Also we semi reliably have been hearing whispers about reshoots so who knows.

All I am saying is that bey can have an idea and if it doesn't turn out to her standards, she can scrap it and change it.

But to me it sucks because I was thrilled to see her vision for a three act connected project.

She's not scrapping the visuals or whatever documentary that hosts a large number celebrities in it, millions spent out of her Parkwood pocket. That would just be disrespectful to those involved and the fans. We were fooled by rumors of an act ii by December, which led us to think the three acts would take place within months of each other. Just because it's taking longer doesn't mean it's scrapped.

She's never been good with tour names. Formation World Tour, I Am Tour, the Beyoncé exp, OTR II, like... what's diff. :rip: It's called the Reneigh tour so it doesn't give away the rest of the acts just like how Formation and Mrs Carter didn't give away theirs. The next act will be the second album, like there's literally no commercial impact/harm calling it "act ii" and how it's destined to flop just bc it took longer than x amount of months. A Beyonce album is a Beyonce album. She literally still calls Renaissance, act i to this day. It's right there on her site that's continuously updated. Scrapping it would make it look like she's unprofessional and we already know she sticks to her art/craft no matter what if she was able to drop Black is King a year after it was a colossal bomb.

The visuals she apparently shot can just be used for the tour.

She shot herself on the foot (lol no wonder she broke it) when she announced 3 acts and released that visual teaser. If she kept those, then no expectations and thoughts about them.

Yeah I mean we'd probably still be bummed that she didn't release videos but the fact that we KNOW they exist due to that teaser and it's uncertain if we're still getting them makes it 10x tines worse :rip:

She didn't anounce 3 acts - that got leaked by Amazon Italia. She just said theres an abundance of music coming.

The visuals however - lets just stop talking about them :deadbanana:

This is a bad take which ignores how unconventional this roll out and past roll outs have been. I mean Beyonce didn't even tour ST in the states, instead  the US got OTR. EIL  was released midway through the OTR2. I'm sure people would have said the joint album is canceled once the tour started.

Any take which is essentially "X should of happened by now, it's not happening" is bad.
