Am I the only one who would rather get the acts yearly? I feel like each act should get a chance to breathe and resonate with the GP. I don’t want a dawn FM situation happening… like the public can get tired of you. Too much over saturation in such a short space of time..

Absolutely, a Country/Rock Album in fall 2023 and a RnB/HipHop album in winter 2024 would slap :jonny5:

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

The other albums shelved? Please. Beyonce can do exactly what she did for Renaissance, drop it on all platforms and not mention it for 6 months.

With the way this tour is lined up until late summer, I honestly expect Act II early 2024. Not sure if she will tour or not. She still has so much ground to cover outside of U.S and Europe.

True.

I wouldn't do 2024, though.

While technically "separate" albums, being interconnected "acts" means they really shouldn't be "too" far apart. The "acts" concept has to be front of mind for the public for it to be truly effective and stretching it all out too much dilutes interest (in the concept, not the music).

I'd love to see her either announce act II or surprise drop it either on her birthday OR the last date of the NA leg. She would demolish sales with a pre-order window and a Q4 arrival. It also sets her up well heading into the rumored 2024 leg of the tour (which doesn't have to be extensive. But gives her a lil scope to play the act II material amidst the existing Rennie show. Basically, a Mrs Carter Show situation.

Ultimately, they need to (and likely have already) find balance between pacing (so, not having a Weeknd Dawn FM situation) and keeping the "acts" concept fresh and front of mind.

Renaissance is so good that I kinda wouldn’t be that mad if she scrapped the other acts and we had to wait a few years for a new album. The tour >>>>>>

THAT BEING SAID if she’s doing three acts one could be kinda Sade’d and then one could be like a true Beyoncé hip hop album. EIL was not it. A collapse :jonny5:

I kinda want her to do the Wetter Remix on the tour and it can be the lone slow song in the show

About the different "acts":

I would see the acts just as Lil'Wayne "Tha Carter" albums... They all have a number attached to it but were not all released close to each other, just like Nicki Minaj and the "Pink" albums. But then I reread that she recorded seemingly "everything" during the pandemic so yeah... Even if she can make timeless songs, it mind be weird to get songs from 2020 in 2024...

About the visuals/movie:

Aren't we sure the movie is not coming to Netflix? I thought she signed a 60M$ deal with them in 2019 for 3 movies! It's been 4 years since the last project with them, maybe now would be a good time to honor that contract?? :deadbanana2: I would find it crazy that she would release a movie anywhere else when Netflix is out here waiting for her to let them drop something. :bibliahh:

I feel like everyone is being so dramatic about the “acts” thing like maybe she changed the plans. The tour is coming I’m fed for another year or two but I would eat again if she put out another album soon :sistrens:

Considering Bey was getting songs for Renaissance cleared last minute, my guess is that even though the record is largely done, she may still make adjustments as needed.

Yeah! And Tonight from Doja Cat uses an instrumental from the 2000s and I still love it. :chick1:

What I'm saying is I really don't mind it, but a whole album of "old" songs might feel outdated.

But I want to be proven wrong! :sistrens:

Oh definitely!! Her demos or remix are always WIDELY different from the end/original product!
