I’m pretty sure AHAP is going viral thanks to the editing community on tik tok? Either way it’s so satisfying to finally see it get the flowers it deserves, it might be my favorite song on the album tbh

MTE.. that Gatsby duet and "Party" (wish he could've appeared for the visual) aside, there is obviously a respect there from the way Mr. 3 Stacks has been credited on "Lemonade" (All Night), "BEYONCE" (Flawless Remix), and "Homecoming: The Live Album" through that memorable horn melody from "Spottieottiedopalicious".

AS should've been the single they sent to Pop and UK radio for August-September after they dropped BMS from radio and before the Cuff It challenge started blowing up in September/October. CI was definitely shaping up to be the "Upgrade U" of this album (charting in the 60-80 range while other singles did their thing) that was turned into a single as its momentum was unstoppable.

no it definitely should’ve been im just poking fun at her she’s top 3, even as a promo single it would’ve done a lot for her, especially showing the GP the experimental side of bey we all know and love

she waited OVER a year between the gift and BIK. the rollout template is RIGHT there. they just don't wanna listen.

Honestly when you think about it, releasing the visuals a year later isn’t that bad of a strategy. We can compare it to The Gift/Black Is King when the album re-entered the top 10 a year later, but that was a underperformance from the get go. Renaissance could re-enter the top 3 if not #1 again depending on the competition. Millions of people who are Renaissance Tour bound will also be all over the visuals despite the narrative being made that it’s too late/the hype died down. LEGS.

i get that them looking at how TG/BIK went and saying "oh yeah let’s do that again" is a hard pill to swallow but it’s been clear in september/october that’s where we’re headed… again 

It also probably won't be a full year. I know people were saying summer, but I could see them dropping a week before she hits the stage which is technically spring. After the GRAMMYs, I figured we were in for a few months of silence again.

 

And unfortunately, if she's doing three acts its probably the much smarter move to slow drip things out like this

I'm fine with the delay (I mean, there's no choice but to be fine).

 

However, what I can't mentally wrap my head around is where/how the other acts will work visually speaking.  

 

If she drops the visuals anytime between now and the tour (or year anniversary) and it really is just for Ren, what does that spell for the likely roll-out for the other acts?

 

She will not keep getting away with visual-less drops or long ass gaps. 

I'm still not sold on HBO..

 

Netflix had some marketing people at the Club Rennie in Paris

Release strategy is odd but I couldn't care less after the way they rolled out BMS/Reneigh, I'm done expecting anything 

 

I'll just wait until she drops the damn thing

 

Oh and I'd take HBO over Netflix, fewer subs but much more appropriate platform for her artistically

I honestly can't even listen to the J Cole version, it's so bad in comprison IMO.
