I agree with the statement though? Why is her team not more transparent? If there's a problem, what's so hard about saying it? Everything with Beyoncé is radio silence and people are rightfully annoyed about it. Doesn't mean they're entitled, it's a realistic expectation to have for your favorite artist. 

 

The frustration with this era is that there has been NOTHING, literally nothing since those teasers dropped. It'll be February soon, there's a problem with that, period.

No. This is not fairytale land. There are several reasons why that ain't the move. Ranging from flagging herself as a possible insurance liability, making promoters nervous, and the fact that it goes against her whole perfection + serve when ready mantra.

 

We're much more likely to hear about it from her when it's in rearview rather than when it risks affecting anything realtime. This is a BUSINESS. 

 

No shade, some people need to let go this desire for Bey to be a Taylor Swift or these other Pop girls who in a very sister-girl way share cookie-cutter updates with fans. It doesn't align with her Queen positioning nor her Old Hollywood approach of keeping up the mystique. 

 

When will it compute that the very "Queen"' positioning that fans enjoy DOES NOT EXIST if she were to turn into a "hey you guys, I stubbed my toe, tour delayed but see ya at the Grammys xoxo" type of artist. 

Different things work for different artists and while Bey has areas for improvement, becoming a run-of-the-mill, do as they're doing Pop tart doesn't make a shred of sense.

The tour could be postponed to late 2023/2024 for all I care. The influx of tours this year is kind of overwhelming and I'd rather her fully recover, not in pain, and not rush things like her last tour.  But I don't think it's severe if she's well enough to perform right now. Give us less choreo for the tour though and more vocals.

That sounds like a terrible idea. Why would you alert the world to an injury, when planing a tour with sponsors and garnering promoters for another two Acts? That would just result in weaponising the media to run their own narrative. All of this when she doesn't even know how she will potentially recover and what that looks like.
