Agreed on the first part. If you are not in therapy (which you should be) that's one thing But to outright negate, "not believe". That tells me everything I need to know about you. Expressing oneself will literally NEVER be a bad thing. If that's not the effect you get, maybe get a better therapist who challenges you. They aren't supposed to be a sitting sound board for you to vent all your grievances. You have to go in without ego and be ready to challenge your own viewpoints
