1. Midnights is a result of YEARS of streaming build up that Taylor did/had to makeup. The re-recordings especially helped her catalog plenty and made her audience more widespread and that's not even counting the TikTok audience that she perfectly caters to with her songs. The aggressive promo and correct marketing are things we've said countless times that Taylor has done effortlessly better than Bey. But, the Taylor album y'all should be comparing it to is LOVER, not Midnights (ditto when I said that HTE was the more appropriate parallel for the debut week instead of Chromatica). Lover was Taylor's first album properly released in the streaming era and did 54M first day. That was pretty great for her. Renaissance is Bey's first streaming era album and 43M is solid for her. If the US was more receptive to House music, she would've done slightly better, probably around 50M. Lover had triple the promo and 3 singles prior to release.

2. Taylor's streaming grew exponentially after cause she kept releasing more often and her catalog soared cause of it. If Bey does this same formula, she will also grow. Maybe not to that extent, but very much better than what she's used to. 

I agree. I'm not as salty as I thought regarding Taylor. Her numbers are frankly unbeatable. She puts in the work with marketing and wants to WIN But I honesly don't see the appeal and will pick up Bey's album and tour tickets over her any day. At this point she's outdoing Drake and Adele. Thrashing them. People are now making solid arguments for her being bigger than Brintey, Mariah and even Madonna.

 

It's just not worth it. She is bigger with more commercial appeal but Bey isn't down for the count by any means. She is one of the biggest female artists currently. They can literally only run to Adele and Rihanna at this point.

They had a banner saying you will get permaband if you post a the leak. When will Beyonce who had variety and whole publications spreading around her album? Bloggers and stans with entire chatrooms listening to the album. 

 

I see it. It's sad. I also think about 100k worldwide units were knocked off for that mess. But the album is still holding up fairly well.

I had to literally throw a fit and tag tons of mods, and go to HQ before they FINALLY did something about it

So is someone gonna say something in HQ or are y’all gonna ***** in here where they’ll ignore it? I’ll say something 

I think the fact that the visuals haven’t been out yet and may not for a while dispels the fact that their is an ACT 2 or 3 albums.

Tina’s gala attracts more stars than the BET Awards so why isn’t BET a sponsor and broadcasting the red carpet and maybe the event too. It has been 5 years.

The way I thought I was taking a break from Rennie and then AHAP came on shuffle and I'm now revisiting other tracks as well The hold this album has on me is honestly scary

The dress is so tight Yvette is helping her walk  It just needed to be a few cup sizes bigger in the bust and she wouldn't be so uncomfortable. Who knows, maybe she wanted it to look that way haha

I feel like her going anywhere would be awkward after practically ignoring the demand for visuals/promo for what could easily be the AOTY. She’s so deep in controversy and probably had to reshoot/edit her visuals because of people like Kelis and the other one. She looks amazing and the fit is hot, but yea… Uncomfortable is the perfect word.

i’m pretty sure that these other 2 albums aint dropping anytime soon

summer 2023 for visuals still sound possible 

Who knows what it’s really called we still need a real announcement  that could be a fill in title
