I’m just appalled that she knows it has been 6 years since we last received a solo album and yet she is deciding to be a troll and tease us with B7. The trolling and teasing for this era is worse than what she did for the Self-Titled era.

Yes, but she has released other music projects during those six years. And recently she performed at the Oscars. It's obvious that as fans you want new material but one can easily see why she takes her time. 

 

I don't follow her much. Hasn't she given any live interview to someone at the Oscars? I know she takes her privacy very seriously but an interview wouldn't kill nobody.

She might very well tease us all week. Clearly, something is happening, and we'll get crumbs through the next few weeks, I imagine if not a complete rollout in a matter of several days. 

I’m sorry I refuse to believe she did all this for IVP.

I defend her a lot and still feel that beyond the profile picture thing "she, Beyonce" has not whipped up this frenzy. It's moreso been us fans. Though, the site thing is still confusing to me.

 

HOWEVER...

 

If all of this is for Ivy Park she really will get rightfully dragged. Totally get she has obligations to it, but there are so many other creative promo means that they could and should have been exploring with the brand. IMO, it has a "nice" presence but the drops haven't really advanced past those celeb boxes they were doing before and even that's calmed down. 

 

Now more than before, it'd be best to either a) tie the new music with Ivy Park to make people hyped about both or b) do the next IVP drop AFTER the music as that is what people want from her most. 

 

Even if music is not ready, she'd actually be smart to keep the no profile pic thing going until it's drop time. Post on grid and carry on as normal and let the change of pic - as simple as it is - signify new music. Because the girls will actually fume if it's IVP and it will have a negative effect on it..making this whole thing pointless and probably one of her most off-the-mark missteps. 

 

If IVP was the sole plan for all of this, they definitely have time to pivot to not get the draggings. 

 

The main thing that has me still thinking music is a) they pulled the pic thing on her YouTube too, which she never uses for IVP and b) they honestly can't be "that" disconnected from public sentiment to leverage ALL of her social presence/clout to a side venture. 

Loving the meltdowns. 
 

 

She is not releasing an album unless she can tour with it, that’s where the money comes from, so unless she can work around that or release B7 now and then B8 coming next year before the tour then I can’t see anything coming yet.

I hear you on the pic, but I mean that she doesn't use her YouTube for Ivy Park visuals (that's all on the IVP and adidas channels). 

 

But you do raise a fair point. 

 

IMO, I find it odd she included YouTube in this profile pic removal "campaign" as it's technically not used for IVP in the way her socials are. So, in a sense could have been left out of it all. 

 

At the same time, it's also very logical that the profile pic thing on YouTube is a  way of using her YouTube presence to boost visibility for IVP in general. Even if slightly. 

 

I sure as hell hope it's not the case this time, though.

If both albums slap I wouldn’t be upset.
