If only Chromatica was a product of Gaga's original vision. The demos alone clear most of CII songs.

As much as I love her, Gaga has noooowhere near reached Madonna's artistic and sonic vibes from Erotica through COADF-I and now Confessions II... Gaga is a far superior singer of course and her jazz stuff is of artistic merit in its own way. Also I love her acting, something Madonna never got quite right. But in terms of cultural relevance, sonic forwardness, thematic cohesiveness - Madonna's 1992-2005 + 2026 run is absolutely unmatched. Love all of Gagas albums dearly tho, of course.

So, in conclusion: Confessions II for all 3 options

Confessions II > Femme Fatale > Chromatica

What are we considering "in the end" because Madonna is likely to be a lot more remembered than Gaga 100 years + onward.

Confessions II is much stronger and bolder artistically as an overall piece. Chromatica could have been so much more than what it is if it was in the vein of the Free Woman Demo but has amazing highlights like Replay and Babylon.

Personally I prefer Chrome to Part II, but I do tend to prefer Gaga to Mad in general because Madonna's output tends to miss the mark for me almost every time.

Love the fact Confessions II is making Liddo's head's spin and turning them into bigger demons than they were before.

Linda Blair would be ever so proud.

We are comparing albums not artists… chromatica is obviously gonna have more memorable songs nothing from c2 has even charted even though it's a far superior album
